Mackem09 2 Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Yes, as most of the teams in the Premier league are poor, the league is generally just over hyped.The top 4 to 6 clubs are miles ahead of the others, but as the last few days have proved, the league is still very competitive. Rangers would need to spend a lot of cash just to survive the first two seasons, however once the increased revenue takes hold, they would be a fixture in the top 8. We aren't as good as we used to be!Right now we dont look like we will have any decent level of european football. Cant beat 2 minnows in 4 attempts never mind knock them out. Agree there are no guarentees about romping leagues but you would imagine it wouldnt take us long. Cant see the calibre of player behng much worse than it is just now amd even at that were a really big club and players would know were on the up. Look at gretna for example they were in our 3rd division with 1st division players, enough to let them progress. We love a trip to aberdeen or inverness?
