The Jury is out on the Whyte Knight

I am not one for rushing to judgment, but am seriously concerned about the motivations and substance of this man. He may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to our club or could turn out to be a charlatan at best and an asset stripper. We just don't know. Here are some of the open questions that deserve an explanation:-

1) How much of his own money did he actually put in to Glasgow Rangers?

2) Who else is behind the takeover to underwrite any losses or does he have the personal wealth?

3) What happens after the tax case if we lose?

4) What happened to the £10m initial + £5m net spend per year promised leading to serious investment in the team?

5) Why can we not afford a striker from St Johnstone on a pre contract deal or cheap transfer when we are in desperate need of a forward?

6) What is Ellis doing anywhere near Ibrox?

7) Why can we not afford a player on loan when Hibs apparently can?

8) What is his exit strategy?

Now, I get Murray screwed up big time and he is the subject of much wrath. However, I think it is very difficult to know whether this guy is actually the tonic for the troops or a nightmare scenario. We will know in 6 months, but right now... the jury is definitely out.

I hope I am wrong but I have seen nothing yet to make me feel truly positive about this guy

Thoughts?

You're a Celtic fan? The exit-strategy part is the funniest line in your post! You have cheered me up after a long day and before I get to bed

Am actually a season ticket holder who cares... but if you want to resort to name calling and avoid the discussion, then that's up to you. Apologies if you are offended, but sometimes tough questions need to be asked if you really care

Here are some of the open questions that deserve an explanation:-

1) How much of his own money did he actually put in to Glasgow Rangers?

A whole £1

2) Who else is behind the takeover to underwrite any losses or does he have the personal wealth?

Nobody and none.

3) What happens after the tax case if we lose?

We be f*&ked.

4) What happened to the £10m initial + £5m net spend per year promised leading to serious investment in the team?

It never existed.

5) Why can we not afford a striker from St Johnstone on a pre contract deal or cheap transfer when we are in desperate need of a forward?

Because we're f*&ked.

6) What is Ellis doing anywhere near Ibrox?

Escorting wannabee gangsters from the car park to the front door apparently.

7) Why can we not afford a player on loan when Hibs apparently can?

Because we're f*&ked.

8) What is his exit strategy?

Gimme your f*&king money or I kill your club.

Now, I get Murray screwed up big time and he is the subject of much wrath. However, I think it is very difficult to know whether this guy is actually the tonic for the troops or a nightmare scenario. We will know in 6 months, but right now... the jury is definitely out.

How is the guy a Celtic fan? He is allowed his point just as you are. They are relatively old points in the main but he can still put the question. If you don't like the question don't respond.

Got to wipe your feet on the way out of some of these threads tonight.

We're up to our knees in timmy pish.

How is this guy a tim? Give it a rest. We should be worried about what Coisty will do with any money should Jelavic be sold. I'm more worried about another Bedoya, McKay, Ortiz, Healy, Kerkar.

And we think the tims are paranoid!!

It isn't about having a different opinion. It's about slandering our chairman using the bile that the mhedia have written about, most of which is baseless accusations about having no money and alluding to his "mysteriously secretive character" as if that's a bad thing. If this poster isn't a tim, then he's a panic merchant and needs a strong dose of 'man the fuck up'.
