Colonel Mustard 380
'Twas a glorious day when McBride came face to face with Mr Stein...yes it was.Having been part of the filth for 4 years, he made his debut for Hibs against the mighty Rangers, taking the place of the man with 3 Christan names who had just left Easter Road to come to Ibrox.Poor old Joe was lucky enough to score on his debut, but unfortunately for him, the man who had scored a 5 minute hat trick on his debut for the Gers a week earlier, was to repeat the feat against his old Hibee team mates in Joe's first game.Colin, Colin, Colin Stein rattled in another hat trick for Rangers that day against Joe's new team, and along with 2 against Dundalk in the next game, this cemented his name in Rangers folklore.Joe McBride might have become a sellik legend with his 54 goals in 55 games, but it was oh so sweet to see a Rangers legend in the making, showing him what being a centre forward was all about. We had John Greig, Colin Stein, and Her Majesty The Queen. What a day. 6-1 to the Teddies.

Colonel Mustard 380
The thing I like most about football, is that we can all say things in the heat of the moment about each other, and can even say things that aren't true about our hated rivals.I dare say McBride probably thought the same thing in his time as a tarrier. It's nice that next day though, we can all just get up out of bed and get on with our lives.
