Is the hatred reciprocal (players)

Talking to a colleague this morning, and got on to the subject of the Lego eater seemingly refusing to shake hands with Ally. "but it's the same both ways" he said.

But is it really?

I know we have true bluenoses in the team and always had, but can you really think of anyone on our side who has carried out acts on the playing field like many of the ones they have?

Ie Di Canio, Lemon spitting on the scarf, Browns thousand yard state and thuggishness?

I think it's obvious that certain players don't get on, but I don't think they broadly dislike each other simply because one is Rangers and one is Celtic, it's more that conflicting personalities in THAT environment obviously cause a lot of friction. Plenty of our boys will get on with Scott Brown because of the Scotland team. On the other hand, I suspect Bartley would like to rip his heart out.

Most of the Shellik team is made up of guys who did not support them hence why all but 1 shook hands with Ally because they respect him as a man. They probably all wished they had a manager who acted with a bit of dignity instead of that bunnet they are lumbered with.

Broon is a different breed of scum and has had it battered into his heid that everything to do with Rangers is wrong and is to be snarled at (With Lennon as his mentor this is unsurprising).
