Falcao To Leave Madrid?

Recommended Posts

Atletico Madrid president Miguel Angel Gil Marin admits that the club need to secure Champions League football next season if they are to keep striker Radamel Falcao.

Falcao scored two stunning goals in Madrid's Europa League final win on Wednesday night.

Gil Marin told Spanish Radio: "If the club don't manage to qualify for the Champions League they are going to have a problem in terms of income.

"Atletico need to be in the top four. If we don't make it, it will be difficult that he (Falcao) stays."

Seems if results don’t go Madrid’s way at the weekend then Falcao could as their president suggests be lured to another club. Surely worth a few quid but based on this seasons 30 odd goals and fantastic double last night a number of clubs must be watching?

City?

United?

Madrid/Barca?

Augero and Falcao would be some front line and both top players at Madrid.

Think Chelsea missed a trick with him last season, although he did go for €40 million and a few months before Chelsea spent more than that on Torres.

If Van Persie were to leave Arsenal then maybe they could also be in with a shout? Then again when was the last time they spent £20 plus million on 1 player?
