Bluepeter9 5,167
Just to provide some context here without prolonging the argument...For those of you who haven't used FF in recent months, you should know that Delightful Dennis is a pleasant chap but he is a fanatical devotee of Lee McCulloch. This goes back to the start of last season when, absurdly, Ally was playing McCulloch as a central midfielder, this thwarting the team's effectiveness to create anything from midfield, reducing the pace of our attacks to a crawl and allowing opposition midfielders to run right over us.The worse big Jig played, the more determinedly Dennis defended him.Hopefully that helps to explain his approach on this issue.Oh - you just made a great argument in defence of Delightful Dennis there - proved he was right to back Lee despite all the pish others threw at him! Now I think DD is on the wrong track here BUT your argument proves nothing and is just a wee character dig - if you don't like DD's points debate them instead. He only looked half a player when he was finally played up-front after 5 years of torture watching him flounder everywhere else.
Edmiston Drive 3,846
... could that be the average time cheques take to clear in the alternate world populated by MD?Maybe that is the cause of this economic crisis we have been in..........too many people using the 18 month cheque clearance that he seems to have used.
