Today's medal chances:

Gymnast, Lewis Smith, is top qualifier for the pommel horse discipline.

Percy/Simpson and Ainslie go in their medal races in the yachting with golds possible for both.

Murray goes for two golds in the tennis, one with Laura Robson.

Yamile Aldama goes in the women's triple jump final.

Christine Ohuruogu goes in the 400m final.

Ed Clancy resumes in the Omnium in the velodrome from a strong fourth position.

Shooter, Ed Ling, goes in the Trap.

Could be quite an exciting day :uk:

Second fastest with two to go who won't be a danger in this element. Bit of a disappointment, but he will gain on the leaders.

Gave it his all in the elimination round yesterday, I wonder if that might just have taken the edge off him this morning.

Will still be him, surely? An Olympic medal and the first British winner of the Tour de France.

Murray would need to win a slam as well to be SPTY

Is it the viewing public that vote for it?

If it is all my money would be on Jess Ennis.

He should win the Kilo, so it will be down to the positions in the 60 lap Scratch. Bunch finish and he will do well......but that was said about Cavendish on the road.
