geneva_ger 9,331
Sorry Bears but I have to agree, and also add that not many managers in Scotland have the nous to change things when it's not working. How refreshing it would be to see several tactical ploys in a game that was stagnating. Not Ally's forte I'm afraid.
southcoastbear 1,639
What some seem to fail to understand is that it is a bit difficult to change things when you don't have the players on the bench to do it at the moment.Admittedly there have been times in the cup games that it appeared walter was trying to leave to Ally to get experience when Walter had to come down from the stands and change it as Ally looked at a bit of a loss. But we are in Div3 which should hopefully give Ally the time he needs to learn how to make the right decisions and to those who are calling for his head, have you forgotten so quickly what the man has done for this club.McCoist is still a novice manager and no matter how much time he spent as No2 to walter there is nothing like doing the job to give the experience required and building a new team almost from scratch is new to him so give the man a break he's earned it. Has ally even lost a game yet this season with no pre season bar a couple of practice matches at Murray park.
jamess 3,422
He is having to deal with so much more than any other manager in Britain is having to deal with. Our leader for a few years, and then either he is shown to be a manager, or he moves 'up stairs'. But he needs to be left alone to do what you usually expect a manager to deal with.
