StewGers 40 Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 It isnt possible to make any point on here without someone calling you a tarrier if they dont agree.Based on the fact we will win promotion no matter who is the manager, surely McCoist deserves this whole season at least to see what he can do. Things arent great at the moment but at least give the guy a chance after everything he has been through and done for the club.If the football is still shite come the end of the season then change it but FFS its only september. Thats what your up against in here. Can you imagine the reaction of some of these guys if charles green had got rid of mccoist in the summer as was being rummoured in the media at the time. Look at Harry Redknapp, he has said he doesn’t consider himself especially tactically knowledgeable, but he employs assistants that are. However Redknapp knows how to bring a team together and rally the troops. Nobody can deny Ally’s ability to motivate. So the solution is simple he needs a new assistant manager that specialises in the things he doesn’t. Unfortunately that may mean having to sack his mates. Always a tough decision for any boss.
