Joint Statement from the RSA, Assembly and RST

Official Statement - POSTED ON AUGUST 13, 2013

“The Rangers Supporters Association, Assembly and Trust have called for Craig Mather and the other Rangers FC directors to take strong action against Charles Green at the next Board meeting.

Mather promised a meeting of 200 fans at Ibrox last week that a Board meeting would be convened to discuss Charles Green’s behaviour whilst a consultant to the club.

The three groups said in a statement – “Since last Thursday we’ve had Mr Green’s farcical challenge to TV debate with potential new directors and investors and the news that his colleague Imran Ahmad intends to sue the club for over £3million with Mr Green as a supporting witness. EIther one of these makes his position entirely untenable.”

“We call on Craig Mather and his fellow directors to act decisively and remove this continuing source of instability.”

No problem with statement, just the fact differing groups put it out.

There should be ONE fans group endorsed by the club and leaders of it should be voted in by season ticket holders and removed in the same method.

One person, one vote, fair as fuck.

Sad thing is I can never see it happening

Removing Green only solves a small part of the issue mind you.

If they can move him!. With the backing of the major share holders Green is going nowhere and Rangers may have to accept Imran back in his job, if they can't prove it was him behind the " iamrangers ". Possibly Rangers may have to settle privately with Imran to save money.

Off topic, just came across this from CF about Longmuir:

@CharlotteFakes: Comedy timing - he's about to be appointed Commercial Director at RIFC, Why have the SFPL raised concerns about this?

Why would they? He clearly passed the fit n proper jig!
