We got stopped by the cops today , and it turns out they werent cops, as by the time we got back to the hostel he discovered he was missing 2000 dollars. They did a nice wee slight of hand on him, but why the christ he was carrying that cash i dont know. Incidentally , on the way in a taxi to report this to the police, we got caught up in as scary as fuck mini riot. This city is going to kick off big time tonight, mark my words.
