Redsox1 1,361
a friend of mine plays in the championship in England and he does at least twice the amount of training a week that Rangers do.

bigbluesea 108
I have spoken to several players. Not a happy place at the moment and a lack any form of tactical training is pissing more than a few players off
OlegKuznetsov 10,816
I reckon a decent junior player in his 40s puts in more training than most pros in Scotland. They'd probably still keep a few of them out of any team in the top tier too.

The training base is three miles from me. Training was about 2 1/2 hours, including a couple of breaks, involved some stamina and short sharp sprint work, some basic ball work and game play. Admittedly, there was no full match or no set piece plays, but then this was a preseason session so not sure I'd expect that. Ball work would have covered approx 70% of the session. I've also watched Porto train here (Hulk, Moutinho et al) and to be honest, they did a variation on the same stuff....but were clearly much better! Willem II, the Dutch side, would appear to be the best technical training team I've seen but doesn't seem to transfer to their results!
