If Shearer and Ferdinand were equal without penalties then ok, but they aren't.Whether Shearer's penalties take the shine off his goalscoring record or not, he's still the top scorer in PL history without them.this is correctim not sure why i mentioned Ferdinand to be honest, i think i was suprised that he hadnt scored a pen, nothing really to do with what i was meaning with penalties scored in Shearer or Lampards records. Le Tissier was obviously class in some of the things he was able to do, Scholes another obvious candidate along with Gerrard, but Lampard is on their level easily!
