He has left us with a shameful legacy of players unworthy of pulling on a Rangers strip, not one decent graduate from Auchenhowie to make it into the top team, those who could see the abomination he oversaw left to join lesser clubs to enhance their chances. His shadow casts a gloom that will endure until we have someone who has the finances to overhaul the management and playing staff by sweeping out the ineffectual dross he has inflicted on RFC.

Some people are so blinded by their hate of McCoist and love of the parasitic board that they can't see the wood for the trees.

- Coisty gets abuse for not playing youth but the first decent youngster that comes from MP over the last few years is sold for a fraction of his true worth by the board.

- Our caretaker manager has quit and has no interest in being in the job. The board simply can't use the excuse that they don't have the money to bring in a new manager as they have access to £8m in funds if they need it.

- That clown who mascarades as chairman said the Ashley loan would be used to strengthen the team yet another lie.

- It took a full out fan revolt to stop Ibrox being mortgaged off.

Coisty takes his share of blame but is not responsible for wasting over £80m of income over the last few years.

strengthen the team when we dont have a manager, unsure of what division we are playing in next season and are still spending more than any team bar the tarriers on wages

Well if we don't have a manager only people to blame for that are the board, as said above they have access to £8m in funding if they need it what excuse do they have for not filling such an important job at a key time?

We will now know ally as the worst rangers manager in history, Look at the Shite he assembled and look at the players he let go. Tbh though if we get a decent manager in we will at least have a style of football and hopefully bring in some fucking decent players, Won't happen though as we are a mess from top to bottom. Kenny McDowall is not much better.

Watching Southampton today is like watching what we could have been , when they went right down the first thing they did was bring in a man who changed their entire philosophic and he was from rugby in Clive woodward , they have now the best scouting and coaching set up in England , what do we have to show for 3 years of mismanagement , nothing and still people will defend this board

It's naïve in the extreme to think the board have nothing to do with this as they just sold our best young player for a fraction of his true value and now have the funds to act but won't.

okay so what manager is going to take the job on not knowing

what players he'll have next season

what league we'll be in

who'll own the club

if he'll be able to wipe the squad and start again

any half decent manager would run a fucking mile

When you sign free transfers from St Mirren and Killie what do you really expect world beaters?

Really does not matter if Rangers have the best manager in world football right now till we get a board that can bring in investment and make money to sign a better class of player days like today will be the norm.

All out board care about is Ashley and to hell with everything else

The board aren't responsible for the disgraceful mess that our footballing department has become, we've spent millions on wages these last three years, continued to have a top class training ground and gotten what out of it all?

Talking about our inept football management is not defending the boardroom, they're to blame for our finances but lets not use them to shield McCoist and his lackeys.

To all those who have been bleating "a win's a win" for the last three years when we should have been working on a total rebuild, this is what it leads to. Scaling home against the Elgins of this world was never going to get us back to where we want to be and ex-legend McCoist is primarily to blame.

Plenty of guys out of work right now who would jump at the Rangers job one of them sitting in a TV studio today.

Keeping KM in this job when he's already quit is crazy, Rangers are probably the only team in the UK right now who are in such a ridiculous position.

who chose they free signings from killie and st mirren?

who chose to continually play black, law, foster, smith and co no matter how fucking bad they were

listen, mccoist didnt have access to vastr sums of transfer funds like other rangers manager, but he still takers the blame purely for the fact he continued to play them no matter what

even if you found a loony daft enough to take it on, why would the board do so when they dont even know who'll be running the club in 5 weeks

The board are 100% responsible.

1. They have the money to bring in a new manager right now if they want.

2. The scouting system should have been addressed 2 and a half years ago by different CEO's etc.

3. Selling your best young player at a key point in the season showed all the ambition the Rangers board have.

4. Turning down millions in funding from anyone but Ashley that would have allowed better players to be signed.

I dont agree with that. in some respects they are culpable but essentially successive boards have backed Mccoist to the hilt and look where we are.

Mccoist should have put his foot down and made sure we have a scouting network - its was his team for 3 years for fuck sake. Unfortunately history has shown he wasn't either strong enough or forward thinking enough.
