His career has been hindered because of the dross coaching we have had in the last few years. I seem to recall reading about him being one of the few who would stay behind after training and work on his fitness. I think if he was coached right in the last couple of years and given more chances he would be the type of player Warburton would like and would be in the squad. I am hoping Warburton has seen something he likes and has allowed him to go on loan instead of just letting him go.
