detained for questioning is actually called 'detained for questioning' wihereas arrested is under a charge and will appear in court - probably tomorrow morning.

Where do you read this crap? Detained for questioning as u call it is detained under section 14. That also means arrested. When you get charged you get charged under section "whatever" in relation to that charge. Arrested means that they can take you to the station for questioning/ charging/ breathalizing/ DNA/ finger printing etc etc etc...

Never heard of arrested without charge?

Murray is to blame for running up the massive debts in the first place albeit these were being serviced and at the time were sustainable. He's also to blame for using the EBT scheme in the first place and then shiting his drawers when it seemed there was a possibility that it was illegal and might result in a massive fine/repayment of taxes. This caused him to drop his drawers to the first person who showed any serious interest in the club and flog the lot to Whyte for a quid. Whyte is then responsible for failing to pay PAYE and ultimately admin and liquidation. While administration was a direct result of Whyte's actions, I think HMRC might have been more receptive to a CVA if the BTC wasn't also hanging over us which they were confident of winning.

So in short, Whyte is responsible for the actions that ultimately led to Admin & Liquidation however none of this would have happened if Murray hadn't sold to him in the first place and the only reason he did this (IMO) was because he was terrified that they BTC was going to bite him on the arse. As far as I'm concerned Murray is as big a culprit in this as anyone else, if not bigger.

This is in no way defending dm ,time will prove he was forced to sell to whyte by our banker friends,he was trying to sell us for a few years but due to the fake tax case nobody would touch us,Murray group operated ebt in lots of companies and won every appeal that why he was confident of winning the btc,the problem dm had was poor timing ,the btc hit us right at the start of the credit crunch and murrays empire was hit very badly almost wiped out and was in no position to hold his ground

The btc frightened off a lot of buyers hence no normal business would take us over, that's when this crook whyte decided we were ripe for raping then screwed us over post admin to set up himself, thankfully now the bastards have had their collars felt and will imo get prosecuted. ,how much time they do will not fit the crime however

Fortunately for us we are heading in the right direction and possibly in a better direction now than if we had been sold to rangers men post admin, one thing for sure our next big win will be sweeter than the sweetest sweet in sweet land on sweet day

Most people would think that, but the amount of legalese and jurisprudence that surrounds the law fucks everyone one. Lawyers need, and all professionals, their own language to keep out the layman. As far as I'm concerned, he's up in front of a judge, he's been charged.

That's not to say he's going to get done though!

He's appearing in front of a Sheriff (not a judge) in private, which means it's indictment. That is good because it means that there is more chance of getting remanded, but is by no way a guarantee. The judge needs to consider seriousness of the offense, length of conviction if found guilty, previous convictions, risk of re-offending, risk of absconding and whether the PF opposes bail. If all of these are low, he will be bailed.

Not an Indictment yet. It is petition just now.
