Soccer?

Indeed BIB??? In 1863 the rules of the game were codified under the English Association. The teams that joined that association were nick-named 'soccer' teams, while the rest remained (for a while) in independent leagues and were known as football teams. So soccer was and is a nick-name,mainly used by Americans and GAA followers.:craphead:
