I said the forum is depressing, even when we win. I then said that people need a reality check and to get real with comments like, Awful, Rubbish, Garbage Pish and then giving players pelters and saying they should be dropped.

You then come on and defend the comments made in here with some crazy bat shit comment about Warbuton getting likes for saying the same thing. Now you're on saying you never implied that. So if you didn't imply that, I ask again for you to read what I wrote, and then ask yourself were the managers comments about being more clinical in front of goal are relevant to my reply.  It is one thing to not be happy with performances win lose or draw, it's another to state that we are Awful, (which is exactly what the OP said, or have you just ignored that) when we were far from it.

There is no hysteria here, I have watched the team for 45 years, not 45 minutes on a dodgy fucking stream.

We were not awful yesterday, far from it, awful was being beaten 3-0 by QOS, 3-2 Alloa etc. Fuck knows what you would have been like during the lean years under John Greig (shudder to think if there was internet and forums back then with the yahoos we have) if you think that was Garbage 

You are one of the many on here that think this is going to be a cakewalk, it's not, we had to work hard to win that yesterday, and we will have to do that every single game we play, wait until we lose and you and the perfectionists will have a fucking meltdown ....

Beats me why you have to go that far back awful was last season getting beat Hibs(2) in the League, Falkirk(2) in the league Livingston (1) Draws Alloa(2) Morton(1) Raith Rovers(1) St Mirren(1) Dumped out a Cup by St Johnstone and Embarrassed by a poor Hibs side in the Final.

No one expects perfection but even in a league where we have more spending power and better training facilities that's poor form from any Rangers side. I expect a lot better this season, as should any Rangers supporter.

Did the manager win the championship which was his main priority? did he get to the Scottish cup final?is he the only Rangers manager and team to get beat in a Scottish cup final? is he the only Rangers manager and team to get knocked out of the league cup? His point is similar to a lot on here that act like spoilt brats that demand perfection (while watching on a stream).

We're a long road from being the force we once were and while this season has potential, it's still a squad of unproven journeymen. 

We have technical ability in our team but what I fear we lack is determination, guts and character. Every winner has these attributes, this season will prove how many we have in the team.

Oh I totally agree but there is a long way to go and we are not the force we once were, and as you say it will be a test of guts and character and im sure the majority will have more guts and character than some on here. Only my opinion right enough.

The performance was definitely not awful. We have problems that need to be addressed and should be addressed - we all know what they are.  

Some of the play going forward was exceptional - overlaps, reverse passing, third man running, one touch, two touch, round the corner - it was all there and it was great to watch and Dundee could not cope when we got it right.

Consistency is not there yet. At times, especially in the second half, poor passing let us down, resulting in loss of possession which results in the opposition breaking on us.  Also, defensively we struggle at set pieces. Going forward, we should naturally get better in possession as the players get used to each other.  Defensively, the current defence either need to improve or we need an addition - personally I think we need an addition.

This is how i see it - we are definitely not great, but we are nowhere near shite, awful, dreadful and any other over the top descriptions used since Saturday.

Smile, you are one hypocritical mixed up guy. In a lot of post last season you are on being the voice of reason, saying that we need time to adjust to our settings and that we won't win every game we play...............  that is after you creaming yourself when we won 10 on the bounce and looked invincible.  Now you are on saying it was awful to lose a few games. A very Poor Hibs side who put out Aberdeen. Hearts, St Johnston, Dundee United ICT ... What Smile am I talking to today ?

My biggest problem on Saturday was why did we perform so well in the first half and be the complete opposite in the second?  There were no obvious adjustments, tactical changes or injuries yet we conspired to almost give away a game we should have won easily.  

First half we moved the ball very well, created a handful of great chances, second half we seemed to forget about football and wanted to go tot-to-toe with Dundee which is not our style, no idea why.  Even our subs were ineffectual as MOH and Dodoo need balls they can run on to, which didn't happen.  In fact it looked like we tried to park the bus in the second half, bit of an odd decision as we are primari,y an attacking team and should always have the opposition on the back foot.

Looking forward to seeing Windass and Crooks play and Barton getting up to speed.

I don't think achieving what we did in the Championship means anything now, we have to push on not sit still, i feel we have not improved our weakest areas and at the end of the season, we witnessed a manager who could not motivate the team.

I don't really care what other posters think of my opinions it means nothing to me and doesn't change what i will post.

What flaws is that ? That he has us playing decent football, on the deck fantastic possession of the ball. We are an attacking team, when you attack you are vulnerable in defence, if you take your chances (and we create lots of them most games) that is not an issue, was it the managers fault Kenny took a bad first touch when one on one, was it his fault Barton was caught out at Dundee's goal ?  On the other hand was it him that should be credited with Millers Strike or the Determination of Forrester ... was it ?  Was it fuck ... now go and put the fucking playstation on and give me some piece ffs.

I was Surprised Kranjcar didn't start and then we went with the Quicker Rossiter as sub, even this small change would have worked better as we would have got more energy second half when we needed it from Rossiter.

I would point the blame at the players for the performances in the league after we had won it,  

As for losing the Cup Final, Hibs scored in injury time to beat us .. and they deserved it ... they were the better team on the day, some times it happens ... and you know what ... it's no ones fault ... That's football in the real world.

What Flaws ...... ?  Motivation ? what the fuck are you on about ... the games we lost had nothing to do with a lack of motivation .... slackness, tiredness, a long campaign, and a lean squad,   add to that Waghorn and Forrester getting injured and Ball suspended for the final ..
