onefootwillie 1,518
I would have a top league of 14 . Each team plays home and away that gives 26 games. You then split top 6 and bottom 8 . The top teams play each other home and away ,that's another 10 games giving those teams 36 games in total. The bottom teams play each other home and away that's another 14 games. The extra games help offset the loss of a home game against us or celtic.

Ferris Bueller 1,569
Yes, But first would get an independent body/company with no affiliation to clubs or club employees to run the whole set up, they set rules, formats etc. based on FIFA/UEFA regulations. Clubs have no imput and must accept them to be a member. Takes away all grievances about bias, agendas etc.
mclovin9091 1,405
Scotland does not have enough of a footballing population to support all the teams. Therefore chairmen, staff, players and fans need to realise that for the improvement of Scottish football and themselves (to a point) they need to start looking at who they can amalgamate with. I.e. Dundee and Dundee Utd should become Dundee City, Motherwell and Hamilton could be Motherham (top name I know 🙂 ). It would be financially better by more than 100%, expenses are halved incoming is improved massively with the additional fans and the bonus of selling one stadium. Scottish football can only support two 12 leagues of professional teams. The rest are amateur part time. Players won't like it as the shite ones will be weeded out and be out of a job but hey, it improves the overall product being sold to TV, therefore generating more income. Before the argument comes in of " Why don't Rangers and them join?" Because we have a suitable fan base in which to support ourselves.
