bluenoz 30,906 Posted October 1, 2021 Share Posted October 1, 2021 Gerrard was a great creative midfielder yet during his three year tenure with us, he has brought in the likes of Andy King, Zungu, Lundstarm and Bacuna. Neither of them are in the mold of a Ferguson, Mendes or Tugay. The type that is required. I realize those types cost money but we should have had a better standard creative midfielder by now.
