We’ve not only reached the end of Gerrard’s resurgence of getting us back to the top of Scottish football but, without even considering the European run, Gio has returned the Scottish Cup after 13 long years.

There’s a whole lot of story before them both that’s been done to the death, and in that I’m so happy knowing we’re finally beyond it, but now normal service resumes.

Rangers are finally back at a grander scale, arguably bigger than when the great Walter Smith left the helm given the journey to Sevilla.

No cunt talks about “where we’ve been” anymore. Look forward, not back.

We return to the status quo of ‘win fucking everything’. Our traditional expectations are now definitively on a domestic treble next year and the Club fails every single one of us should it not demand a last 8 of the Europa League as a bare minimum from here on.

We may fall short but our targets should never falter.

2022/23 is a canter. Wright for Ballon d’Or.

Huge summer ahead in the transfer market .Most will depend on who leaves and for how much .Hopefully some of the guys with 12 months left extend contracts .Having to replace Morelos,Kent and Aribo with players ready to perform to the same level would be very difficult .

But looking at the squad on the podium today there is a healthy depth to what we have ,Especially the young players who have started knocking on the door .

Big decision is letting Lowry and King prove their worth.

Its great to talk about City & Munich chasing or homegrown youngsters, but how about we fucking play them?

The game at tynecastle last week I feel shows that youth can be used as squad fillers and you can probably have 2 maybe even 3 in a starting lineup in particular in home matches against bottom 6 opposition without being concerned.

I don’t want Brandon Barkers or Bacuna’s or jack Simpsons if we can have youngsters with real potential and on much smaller wages that can do a better job.

The difference is knowing which ones are the real deal and which ones are just hype. For me lowry is a star in the making, king looks to be not far off and McCann from what I’ve seen so far could also prove to be a real asset.

Guys like mcpake and Kennedy who have (or maybe had the ability) but don’t seem to have the right attitude are the ones that we can’t rely on.

Blend them in ,it’s the only way .Both 18 just now .Both need to get double figures next year in the first team .
Bayern and City wouldn’t be signing them for their first 11s .

Nail on the head .From now on our priority needs to be look after our own youths ,Give them the backing and opportunity for first team before taking on Barkers or Bacunas .

There could well be opportunities to take on players at 18/19/20 from other teams (Bassey types) but only if we have gaps where our youths may have been lacking .

If we show the top Scottish boys at 14 or lower that we have a route to the first team then they are more likely to want to be involved.
