eastcoastbear 122
According to STV news, Strachan facing up to 10 game ban and confirmation that one of the gfitw was arrested for sectarian singing, also that others joined in. SPL await the official's report. Can't see Strachan lasting much longer there unfortunately. Would love to see Wattie stuff the wee fecker 4 times in the league and 2 cup finals!! Thermopylae 15,287
Surely tgfitw weren't singing sectarian songs strapon is getting off lightly if he only gets 10 games, it should be the stocks for him
Thermopylae 15,287
Oh hang on, according to peter martin the police have complimented timmy on their behaviour yesterday. So there we go, yet another shining triumph for septic (as long as you listen to Clyde of course )

rossDas 1,071
Strapon will get off lightly, just like other celtic players and managers who've faced punishment before. Ten games? We'll be lucky if it's five.
rossDas 1,071
Also, it took the timmys all of one day to start playing the victim ( gasp! Suerly not! ). The comments from Timmy Burns and the celtic supporters club were laughable, however if you you throw enough mud at a wall then some of it will stick. They have been throwing mud at various walls for decades.
Dillinger 0
Strapon will get off lightly, just like other celtic players and managers who've faced punishment before. Ten games? We'll be lucky if it's five. Strachan will never get ten games, it'll be two at the most and a fine. The press will turn it around in no time as well. Once again, Strachan shows the total lack of class. No matter what the provocation, a manager should be adult enough to walk away. Doesn't set a good example does it? :despair: The interesting part in this debacle is Aberdeen's position. Since we know that there's going to be a crackdown on 'unacceptable' terrace chanting (that's 'friendly banter' in Celtic speak) I'll be interested to see what sanctions Aberdeen face and what the media's response will be. Jim Traynor for one has been in blind denial about the Sheepie's despicable 'greatest' hits :barf: for years. Or is it just big bad Rangers that get it the neck? Two cover-ups for the price of one? The songs sung by the sheep botherers are not sectarian and are therefore classed as unworthy of being challenged. In short no-one gives a toss unless it's some evangelical whinger that's offended. The only PR focus that their songs will get is what our club and the supporters trust throw at it - which is precisely zero.

Actually the rules don't just apply to sectarian singing, offensive singing and chanting is also covered,, therefore, the sheep should get it in the neck as well. Surely singing a song at Ibrox about the Ibrox disaster is behaviour liable to cause a breach of the peace. If the police say they can’t do anything about that then we need new police who are up to the job
Blue Stars Bearette 1
its annoying though that other fans can continue with their vileness and remain unsanctioned. But an OF fan will get arrested or his club fined. The abuse hurled by Sheep is equal to if not worse than the so called sectarian chants.. It still annoys me that they can say really bad stuff sing really bad stuff and yet anyone from the visiting team reacts they suddenly say arrest him he insulted me. Its warped logic
