WATPRFCNo1 0 Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 I had 2 defensive midfielders and three attacking midfielders playing in behind the strikers so their not on the halfway line, not to mention that my DM's push forward when we have possession. the tactics a belter, 2 consecutive league wins, 3 league cups, one Scottish cup, one UEFA cup & the Super Cup in 2 season isnt shabby at all! got this seasons league tied up already too and into the CL quarters. I got into the CL Group stages defeating Rabotnicki 4-1 on agg and FC Twente 5-2 on agg. I have signed Krzysztof Krol (loan), Paulo Ferreira (loan) and Vladimir Bystrov (£5m) Sold Hemdani and Papac. But what if they focused just on players from the UK ? Could they still do just as well? Even better? Rules: 1. You don't have to sell off all your players but you can only sign/buy players from England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland? 2. You must accept any offer for a foreign player as long as it meets their listed value (for instance if Alexandre Song was valued at £2m and a team offered £2m or more I would have to accept it). How many trophies can you win? FA Cup 50 points Carling Cup 10 points EPL 100 points UEFA Cup 50 points Champions League 150 points However you have to deduct points for non-UK Irish players -- per trophy you win! 1-5 foreign players -2 6-10 foreign players -10 11+ -25 Winning Champions League or EPL with only UK & Irish players = 500 point bonus I was thinking this could be done with Rangers/Arsenal/Chelsea.
