disgruntled_bear 157
I Know it was only against East Stirling tonight..... but i think we could cope in the league now if Barry got injured or suspended, hopefully Barry now understands he doesn't need to do everything himself and we can get the Old Barry Ferguson back! nvager 498
Barry will ALWAYS believe he has to do everything. That is just the way he is.
MisterC 12,292
He is guilty of that for sure, its his nature though, he wants to lead by example and have the play flowing through him. Sometimes that isn't the best attributes to have.
Muff 245
We'd struggle big time if Ferguson picked up an injury/suspension, especially with Kevin Thomson out. There is no-one near good enough to fill in.
Ibroxblue 122
If Kevin Thomson was back we'd be OK.
JR 1,480
Barry will ALWAYS believe he has to do everything. That is just the way he is. I disagree with that. He tends to try too hard when things aren't going our way, or when he is asked to to that advanced midfield role. He has to chase down defenders but his natural instinct is to receive the ball from the back four and pick a pass. He cant do it all - but it doesnt stop him trying, ultimately tho, his performances suffer. If Walter was to employ a dedicated attacking midfielder, or a formation that allows BF to revert to his natural role - he would be back to his commanding best week in, week out. BF & KT sitting in and a Buffel-type in front of them would be my ideal scenario to get the best out of Barry.
