Well that could be for one major reason that RANGERS have that SMELTIC don't!

The knuckle draggers have been doing this for years....Goram and Gough were at it all the time and the SFA wont do anything about it especially now that an ex h** is in charge.

They'll make a miraculous recovery in time for the Old Firm game surprise, surprise

The way I see it is :

- Its only a friendly and some of these players (Including Robson of Celtic) have injuries that if this was an important game would play (but see point 2)

- Daily has a broken toe - so is unlikely to play the weekend either. McCollough is unlikely to make it either - so they cant be 'at it'

- Hartley is unlikely to play at the weekend anyway, Caldwell needs all the practise he can get and McManus is going to be captain

- These players have been checked out by a doctor and Burley has assesed injuries as well - and let them go.

- Paranoia rules!

Yup, its important to note that it was the Scottish medical team that ruled them all as injured. It would be silly of Burley to risk any of them particularly in his first game, a friendly. Imagine the flak he would get playing a not fully fit Fergie, who got injured for the rest of the season?

McDonald has pulled out of the Australian World Cup qualifier.

Nakamura has pulled out of the Japan Squad.

Robson out of the Scotland Squad.

And 4 of our players have pulled out of the Squad--- not much difference.

They are desperately trying to arrange a tour of Japan starting the day after the present last day of the season to ensure that the league is not extended.
