scotgr 1
more or less every game this season we have never put a good delivery in the box from set pieces
Jelle1880 229
True, set pieces have been woeful all season.
Canadaready 9,437
There was a thread I made a week ago on this. I agree, not much has changed in this area of our game.
jbm26896 995
always been poor at set pieces this season
scotgr 1
papac hit our best set piece all game near the end and he beat the first man
BritishBear 34
Anything from the left Papac should get the nod. Thought he was great again tonight and would have been my motm had it not been for King Carlos.

Thought he was great again tonight and would have been my motm had it not been for King Carlos. Papac once again excellent. As for set pieces Adam and DMB have hit the only decent ones all season. And Adam is very inconsistent. Beasley had one or two poor corners but was overall excellent. Of course he hasn't played since Nov...., which brings us to- Mr. Barry Ferguson, who has lost considerable form in the set piece dept. ; obviously the injury can't help but his attempts have been mostly dire. scotgr 1
mr thomson has been not bad with some of his corners
shnollyRFC 0
Rotten no matter who's been taking them. Only times I can remember us scoring from corners are against Lyon (Beasley) and Aberdeen (Adam). Even then, i'm not sure Adam meant that one! allyharp 2
It's such an easy part of the game to train for, it's really an embarrassment that we consistently fail to put in a decent corner or free kick.
nvager 498
Davis was rubbish at corners and free kicks tonight. Barry is our best at dead ball situations. Boyd is good at direct free kicks too.
dados army 0
We dont really have anyone that can really cause much of a problem when it comes to free kicks. We always seem to lump it high upto the back post, we dont have much variation.
Briton 394
What makes this so exasperating is that because of our style we need top make the most of our dead ball situations. We create very little in open play in these type of games. I'd rather they make a pig's ear of an attempted flat pacey cross than one of those safe floated efforts though. JTP 221
I'll always remember when Monaco came to Ibrox, Marco Simone's corners were awesome! He used to bullet the ball into the box with plenty of bend on it, every single one fo them gave is trouble!
trueblue1872 2
Would be nice to bring in a dead ball specialist this season. It's something we have lacked in for years now. Adam likes to think he's one but he's so far from it....
bjkwatp 0
Demarcus Beasley has a good ball in i'm glad he is back for the game on sunday i think davis is not bad with corners but only from the left beasley should hit them from the right davis from left i dont know if i have the sides right may be the other way round
