I don't like Betfair. I prefer Ladbrokes and Skybet. Ladbrokes are a bunch of bastards tho, for all the money I spend with them online, they have never given me a free bet.

I normaly just bet with Ladbrokes through there shops. Its the only bookies my town has.

Same here. At least you get the occassional free bet with you points card.

Was thinking in the shower there about some of my pre-season bets again:

Hopefully not tempting fate but:

http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?...t&p=2672343 - Actually was with Stan James, just found out and not Totesport!

Partick reaching form at the right time?

Been doubtful for a while over the potential return of my Swansea/Villa double as it came up as £456.76 while placing it but the decimals I got from pressing 'compare odds' on the oddschecker were 78.89 and multiplying that by 58 gave me £457.62 on the calculator. I called this morning, just as Saturday Kitchen started, to ask if my stake was put on that and they insisted it was and I reluctantly accepted it.

I put this on, on Wednesday, with Skybet.

£58 on a double of Swansea and Aston Villa to win. Potential return: £456. Admittedly, I went pretty big on it (usually spend about £20-£30 a weekend) but I have a lot of faith on it tbh. Big risk since I'm newly out of work on the 1st but I suppose you have to speculate to accumulate and its as good a way of getting money as any.

Shame Swansea drew as it would have been nice to sleep on a big win but never mind.

Thats me off betting for the weekend now. That was my bet...tho there is always the temptation of the Old Firm tomoro but it would just be that now.
