Bluebell11 0
For as long as I've been a member of RM I have sang McGregor's praises.Like all good Rangers fans tonight I've been channel hopping looking at all the angles of today's game. My point is when the dark side scored they're second goal, our goalkeeper was yelling at our wall of players. My question is why was McGregor behind the wall ( to the right) ? average intelligence tells me that he should have been to the left! I hope I don't sound like I'm complaining just for the sake of it, but he did get my hackles up at the end of the game. I was jumping around like a looney and when I spotted McGregor chumping at Miller it took a wee edge of for me. :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:
Muff 245
He should of been positioned slightly more to his right but the wall didn't help either. Even if he had been I don't know if he'd of saved it?
dramsay1 0
it was good freekick, no doubt about it. he could have been better placed but no point over anaylsing a token goal.

minstral 5,375
i thought davis turned his head away when he could have headed it clear.
steelyboy 0
The wall could maybe have protected the right hand side of AMc's goal better or maybe AMc was expecting it to come over the wall...which i guess most of us were? Whether it was anger or disapointment at some of his team mates but most probably at himself for losing that goal and even though it was in injury time and totally meaningless to the outcome of the game.(I might as well, grudgingly, add taken by maybe 1 of the best dead ball experts in the world) I thought his reaction showed not only his drive and desire to be a winner for himself and his team mates but to be a winner for RANGERS. I hope it rubs off on the whole team

polar bear 0
Not the biggest fan of his positioning at times or his failure to command his area at cross balls. Agreed. But otherwise he is a very good keeper.
ExiledWeegie123 1,275
i thought davis turned his head away when he could have headed it clear. yep if you watch it in slow motion i think he shit himself from broadfoots size 14 feet coming at him,he pulled his head away at the last second
Simon. 7
i was happy to see, even at 4-1 up our players were still pissed off at conceeding a gaol! shows we never want to lose a goal!
FlippinEck 3,737
he was probably embarassed that our whole team jumped up like donkeys only for nakamura to put it right past them all and through a gap and past him, dont blame him, 4-1 was a much better scoreline
Thermopylae 15,287
It was good to see they were still anoyed about it after the final whistle ... rather remind me of Sir Awex all those years ago after winning the cup but still spitting feathers because their standards had slipped
StayWestFree 107
If it was 2-1 at the team, that would have never been a goal. The wall would have been rock solid.
Thermopylae 15,287
Probably correct but it should still mean enough to them to be a team that goes and wins 4-1 at septic park
brissyger 8
The wall was sloppy and pure laziness and I think McGregor had every right to be upset. Think Davis could have done more to get his body in the way. He moved his body out of the way to try and header it, to me it looked like he could've moved to the right and blocked it. Guest therabbitt
McGregor had to stay slightly more central than usual because there was a threat into both sides. Celtic have some very good dead ball specialists now. He was right to be angry with his wall. On the side where Nakardmotor got his shot through, the wall was far too lax.
