Unionloyal 0
Rangers midfielder Pedro Mendes says the gap between the Old Firm and Europe's top clubs is not as big as some suggest. Sorry Pedro but the gap is enormous, it just shows you are not long in Scotland and Im afraid you dont convince me mate <_<
Poacher 0
This year's performance by all Scottish teams seems to contradict you Pedro. Sorry amigo. I'm not convinced either.
Adam 0
I think he means in terms of quality of football domestically....When you have Falkirk and Hamilton (relegation contenders as it stands now) playing great passing football at times I can see why he has made that comment.... Too easy to see the negative in things all the time...I love Scottish football, but hey ho thats just me

Blue Stars Bearette 1
he was saying that european football is played differently and less aggressively than SPL gung ho style and that we have to adapt when we play in Europe

Jelle1880 225
Maybe not in the first ten-twenty years, but we were so close to a European Cup last season, and we beat some teams with a lot more money and better players. You never know what happens when England loses it's powerhouse that is the Premier league (something which WILL happen), then players will start looking for other clubs. I don't think the times of us signing a Gazza will come back, but you never know.

Coopermania 1
we reached UEFA cup final as did Celtic so its within the bounds of possibility to do it again I agree Stars, I think the UEFA Cup is possible but not the CL the way it is these days. It's amazing to think that Dundee Utd reached a European Cup Final in 1984 under the traditional way it used to be run. Call me old fashioned, but I would go back to the old way. However it will never happen because of the massive money that can be made the CL way.

papaguy51 912
The OF's recent record in Europe is pretty decent. I see this season as the exception instead of the rule.

We need to be realistic. Group Stages / squeezing through to the last 16 is really our limit.
