Mid field too similar

i think we need to re jig the midfield - Mendes Davis and Ferguson are too similar and they all disappear at times - Like some of you I feel that we need a Thommoesque player in there and Edu seems to be the only one on the books at present - Natural settled wide players either side will help also -Today Beasley couldn't have coped So it was inevitable Walter would choose McCullochs strength over someone like Aarons guile ( i personally would have started Aaron) The manager needs to tweak our midfield - Ferguson or Mendes would be the ones to rotate for me at present - I would prefer Davis centrally but to bring in Edu he would remain on the left

I would remove Fergie for davis, davis has all the attributes of ferguson but is faster and doesnt tire easy, dont get me wrong here, davis has done well out wide, but he would do better through the middle

rangers need an Ian Ferguson in there and just nail and counter attacks from opposing teams, we have to many softies in midfield

It has been some time since we played a midfield that has not been carrying at least one passenger. Today McCulloch was posted missing and Davis disappeared for most of the second half. He looked very short of pace and fitness and I would have taken him off.
