Briton 394
That's an interesting stat regarding Thomson. I wonder what Smith would have done had he stayed fit? Can't imagine him dropping Ferguson, so I presume we would go with a five man midfield.

KERRZO 5
Once Thomson is fit again Ferguson can leave whenever he likes. We could still scam some Premiership team I think out of a million for him!!!

Bazza 21
The Thomson stat just shows how much we lack bite in the team.
Carsons Dog 9,878
It may just be coincidence but he wasn't in a losing Hibs side at Porkheed either in his last 2 seasons with them
simplythebest 11,453
Thomson's never been a huge favourite of mine but we've missed him, hes the only one in our side with some grit and its especially needed against them. Robson provided grit for them yesterday, we could really have done with Thomson.
Muff 245
Try the official site - that will give you the stats you need Anyway, here you go. Under Walter Smith 1-0 Ehiogu - Thomson played. 2-0 Boyd & Adam - Thomson played. 3-0 Novo, Novo & Ferguson - Thomson played. 1-0 Thomson - Thomson played. 1-2 Novo - Thomson missing. 2-3 Weir & Cousin - Thomson missing. 4-2 - Cousin, Miller, Mendes & Miller - Thomson played. 0-1 - Thomson missing. 8 games played, 5 wins & 3 losses. Everytime Thomson has played, we have won. Brown, Hartley and Robson can't handle him. A big miss yesterday and I bet had he been playing instead of Ferguson, we'd have won! mark_ni 12
our season basically ended with thomsons. We are a far better side when hes playing and if he had been yesterday we would have won comfortably although i still think we should have beaten them without him. Stardog 11
Thomson will never play for us again with Barry in the team. Barry should be benched.
Muff 245
Barry Ferguson should be sold. His contract is up in 2010 - I'd try and get a couple of million for him. Sadly, I'm just waiting for the news that he's a greed a new 3 year contract.
superally07 387
I bet had he been playing instead of Ferguson, we'd have won! I agree, but i also feel if he was playing instead of Mendes we would also of won. Thomson is our most important player i feel. and our Best prospect even tho he not exactly young but he could turn into a real world class midfielder imo. Muff 245
World Class - no chance of that!
Carsons Dog 9,878
A friend of mine who is employed by Rangers inferred that had Thomson been fit we may have cashed in on him in January. I jumped on what he said straight away and he refused to elaborate but I know exactly what he was inferring. i.e. - if the price is right, anyone can go
