Boab 73 Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 One player who is facing a fitness fight for the Old Firm Co-op Final on March 15 is Nacho Novo Novo was on crutches up until yesterday after ankle damage against Dundee United on January 31. It would be a massive blow to Novo to miss out on the Final as he was suspended for both the Co-op and Scottish Cup finals last season. Boss Walter Smith said: "Nacho is still a couple of weeks away. The medical team are pleased with the way he has been progressing. "He has been in plaster and he has been on crutches and I believe it will be another week before he begins some light jogging. Yes we could, Walter won't play Byod on the 15th so Nacho wuold be very useful i agree, unless we one down with 15 to play, boyd could b sitting with a space suit on, for all the three amigos care. yes, i hope novo makes it, and gives them a hard 60 mins, as no games for 6 weeks will c him blowing out his ass after 60. will boyd only play as a gamesaver? probably, in my eyes.
