PRW. 5,631
So they would rather team mates end up with no wges or club than them take a pay cut until the end of the season to help the club?Greedy bastards.
Yata 161
Can't believe this is true, surely the best for all involved would be for pay cuts all around so everyone keeps a job
TheFarmer 260
Can't believe this is true, surely the best for all involved would be for pay cuts all around so everyone keeps a jobFrom some of the players point of views they could easily get more elsewhere than take a cut of 75% till the end of their contract. MCLACHLAN1 49
We have a lot of players paid a lot who don't justify their wage.I would of cut at least 8 players who have not contributed and will continue not to. We could all name at least 8.
gunslinger 270
that's not quite what happened though is it.
disgruntled_bear 157
I wonder if Paul Murray has got into the heads of some of our players, to try and delay.

Leeds_Bear 8,110
So everyone in this thread knows all the ins and outs of the situation? Rather than jumping on the players backs lets wait and see what happens. Bunch of fucking morons.
Clemdog 39,389
Think it's unfair to comment on it all as we have no idea what has been put forward.

There may well be people at Rangers who simply don't get on with everyone else, its inevitable in workplaces. As far as i'm aware, negotiations are on-going. Never going to be an easy process
hemdale1873 167
TBH i think its time for the admin people to make this call now its one less problem out of the way if they do, everything has to be done to find a new owner even if it means short term pain. disgruntled_bear 157
quite possibly. It's the only explanation I can think of for further delays, we should have all this sorted out by now.

We could all name at least 8.I have to agree in a way. While it is always sad for people to lose their jobs, i've kind of come round to the idea that cutting out some deadwood, while costly for the present, is not exactly the worst idea. In the long run, purely looking at it for the good of the club and getting the wage bill down, i'd probably not lose too much sleep if we lost Ortiz, Broadfoot, Healy, Little, Kerkar, to name but a few. Not a nice situation but thems the breaks.Fact is, if we get everyone to take a bump on their wages, how long will the big players stick around for when they could be earning significantly more down south? Not everyone of them is on £20k a week. Are the higher earners suppose to just say fuck it and leave the lower paid ones on their arse? Lets remember the players are the ones here whom are fighting to stop job cuts all around the Club !
Blue and True 311
we all support the team but lets say youve only just come from a far far away place like say Mervanwhy would he sign a deal for say 4k and a month later agree to it becoming 2k
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Its all about the money these days for nearly every players!!!Its fucking disgusting!!!Hope this is not true though!Once again I state, you are offered 75% wage cut to keep all your coworkers in work, regardless of whether you are their best mate or whether you hate them. Would you automatically agree to it?
gunslinger 270
It's the only explanation I can think of for further delays, we should have all this sorted out by now.not so sure about that. the players aren't giving in easily and the administrators bottling out of forcing their hand. Jocky Broon 207
To just routinely expect the Players to take a massive wage cut to sort out a problem which is not of their making seems a bit unfair to me.
