I actually like Halliday and haven't really criticised him before because frankly, I don't think he's really deserved it up until now. He's been a somewhat limited but useful player. On Saturday, he was utterly shocking. By far our worst player. That's not picking on him, that's being realistic. He spent too much time arguing with the ref and trying to direct his teammates. Good enough squad player and can fill a couple of positions. Nowhere near good enough to be our deep lying centre midfielder on a consistent basis. He is physically weak. You're responding to arguments that I haven't made. I'd love 11 of "us" in the team, IF they were good enough. I've criticised countless other players this season. He deserves the criticism he is currently getting because he's been nowhere near good enough. Added to sub par performances was sub par behaviour on Saturday. I don't dislike him mate. And yes, I agree. Being a Rangers man means something. It's great he's in the squad. He is just not good enough to be a mainstay of the team, unfortunately. We can agree to disagree on his ability but don't pick me up wrong on his being a fan. It shouldn't mean he gets a harder time but by the same token, it shouldn't mean than sliding about on his knees or kissing the badge makes up for awful performances.
