that's the thing - stories, rumours etc when I went to London for the first time in my life I've expected everybody to speak with perfect Queen's English, to see snobbish and greedy, cold and distant people, I've expected 5 o'clock tea and all that stuff. And I've experienced a real cultural shock, cz everything was very different from what I thought it would be. Ever since I try not to put stereotypes and label people and nations just because of my own lack of knowledge I think that 8 years is plenty of time, plus Russia hosts Olympic Games in 2014, so defo experience gained from that event would be taken into consideration. I'm sure this WC would be great

I'm surprised by your knowledge have you lived in Russia for a long period of time,or you've had specific courses at Uni? Getting from St Pete to Moscow on a train is 3,5 hrs, also there are plenty of low-cost flights which would be like 10 pounds for return ticket if booked in advance. I'm pretty sure visas will be issued with no probs, just like on the Man U - Zenit game. People didn't have troubles then, why should they have them in 2018? FYI guys, getting the UK visa is more of a nightmare than the Russian one

Interesting thing, in our (Russian) media we have about 5 articles with information that FIFA opened investigation, though in the second half some Slovenian fans threw a knife into Igor Akinfeev (goalkeeper), so according to FIFA rules Slovenia can be disqualified. But... I couldn't find anything on the FIFA website

His contract expires in July 2010 & as he said on a press conference after the game he's going to stay. Also before the game with Germany he was proposed to extend a contract, but yet again as he said the whole thing will be discussed in the nearest future & he's gonna make up his mind about it all quite soon.

Dynamo is currently sharing 4-5th place with CSKA in the Russian Premiere League. Out of 15 games they won 7, draw 3 & lost 5. I'm pretty sure they can win this game 5th of August in Moscow
