Leeds boss Garry Monk has been shortlisted for the Rangers job

Monk only took over at Leeds last summer on a one-year rolling contract following the departure of Steve Evans.

But the Daily Mail claim managerless Rangers may consider bringing him to Ibrox to fill the void left by Warburton.

It is claimed Warburton vacated his post at Rangers after expecting to take over at Nottingham Forest.

And with the Scottish giants now looking for a replacement, Monk could be the one to fill the void.

Leeds are in the promotion mix in the Championship to secure a long-awaited return to the Premier League under Monk, so it remains to be seen if he would want to leave the club.

The report adds Former Birmingham boss Gary Rowett is another candidate to take over at Rangers.

Well that could be true but I'm sure the owner your talking about isn't at the club anymore or he's be found guilty of tapping up. Sure I heard that somewhere.
