  1. I think their agents must have made the opening gambits...... it was previously said by Douglas Park at the AGM that "sometimes, you can't meet a players' demands"....or words to that effect.
  2. Among the first three on the teamsheet if he stays fit.....it's a big ask of the medical team.
  3. So mild mannered and pleasant off the field but turns into a bit of a snarler on it.....what we need more of and so different to at least one departee!
  4. The club is in decline. Performance on the field, well down. Asset value, well down Supporter satisfaction, through the floor
  5. When you look at who will be here next year, who will move on and who will retire.....we are in a bit of a desperate hole right now. How we quite mamanged to go unbeaten two years ago to what we resemble now is almost beyond belief. celtic were there for the taking and we absolutely handed the game to them on a plate. Major renovation required!
  6. Loving what he brings to the squad in terms of link up play and energy.....but he can shove that shithousery that did for their guy being sent off right up his arse. That isn't the Rangers i know and love.
  7. Geez......how do you choose your clothes in the morning??
  8. Lee Johnson set Hibs up like he wanted to give it a good go...he was dumb enough to keep it going once they went in front. Had they banked 11 men behind the ball like they usually do (after they'd gone in front), I doubt it would have looked the apparent free flowing cavalier performance we put in tonight. Hibs were shite and space opened up all over the pitch. Man for man, we made the most of it (and so we should because man for man, we should be better) but don't be fooled by that performance. For balance.....you can only beat what's in front of you.
  9. His best form for us has been against better quality opposition. He took the game by the scruff of the neck several times in last season's Europa run. That seemed to coincide with his best spell of fitness too.
  10. Today is one of those days where for many of us, you only really go because you've got a season ticket. Hard to drum up enthusiasm for this one, you just know the atmosphere will be flat as fuck. Early goal and a bit of a hammering needed to lift the spirits.
  11. Well....I'm just back from a long weekend visiting some relatives in the Capital......big thanks to two of our forum members for a suggestion of where to watch the final. I turned up bright and early to get a good seat at the recommended CC Blooms bar. Unfortunately, it was closed until later in the day....but low and behold, as I stood there, arms in the air wondering "where to next", a lovely young fella (spitting image of Freddie Mercury) appeared and asked what my problem was. I told him i didn't know where to go to watch the Cup Final and the young man kindly invited me back to his place, where he and his friends were holding a Cup Final Party.....and "would you like to join us for free drinks" Well, as a typically tight Scotsman, I couldn't turn it down, could I? So off we toddled down this entry (or was that later, I can't recall?....there seemed so many!) Before long, I could feel myself getting more and more pissed and very tired, then bugger me (pardon the pun)... I slept right through the match. I think we must have enjoyed a curry or something spicy before I fell asleep as upon waking, I couldn't get off the shitter for ages and that left me with a really sore arse. Nonetheless, big shout out to @STEPPS BOY and @Negri's lovechild for such a great tip, thanks guys!
  12. All this playing 8 or 10 bollocks does my head in. Back when football was football....8 and 10 were differentiated by Left and Right. If Glen Hoddle pulled on the number 8 shirt, do you really think he played any different to when he wore number 10?
  13. Last minute, find myself in fuckin' Edinburgh tomorra of al places.....will be staying near Morningside. Any tips for Bears friendly pubs/bars?
  14. Every other week at Ibrox. I get half a dozen guys behind me yelling 'you fucking shitebag' at any mistake that any one of three or four players might make. The banner pales into insignificance to that behaviour as far as i'm concerned.
  15. The endless references to this pair are pretty much irrelevant. Logic says both will be gone in the summer. Both will have suitors in the free market and both will be able to command a significantly healthy signing on bonus in the absence of a transfer fee.
  16. Took my Grandaughter to her first game yesterday. Aged 7, she loved it and after the game, she wanted to see if she could get some autographs. Not knowing the 'rules', I walked round to the car park behing the Copland Road stand where there were loads of people queueing in a somewhat disorganised bunch in the freezing cold. Player after player came out and drove off without so much as a wave. Eventually, one or two stopped and signed the first thing that was thrust before their face and then made their escape. Kent came out....and to his credit, he signed every bit of anything that was put before him (i think we were next to last and the queue was long) and posed for absolutely loads of pictures/selfies through his car window. He didn't leave a single fan disappointed. Sometimes, it's not what happens on the pitch that makes a lasting impression. My Grandaughter is still buzzing and can't wait to go to her next game. Well done young man!
  17. 2-0 to the famous tonight......and a Forest win at Old Trafford for a tasty double.
