  1. I wish I was there to lay some flowers myself:
  2. I called out of work for tonight. They asked me why and I told them a family member passed away as that is truly what it feels like. I hate so so much that I never got to meet this man in person and am jealous for those that did. As I said earlier in the thread he was like a father figure to me just by how he viewed life, and how he was a role model in that same vein. Everyone will be upset over this for a long time but I know we will all stick together, virtual or however we need to,and get through it as Walter would want us too.
  3. I am babysitting my 5 year old niece and am crying as well and she doesn't understand being so young, she's just worried about her Uncle. He was more than just the head of the team I love, but he also sort of like a stand in parent for me as to be blunt my Dad was not my life as much as he should have been when was I younger. Just a tough day.
  4. It is hard to be universally loved by all in the world of sport but this man truly was. He was a leader of men and for every single player that ever ran out on to the pitch for you, and holds you in the highest esteem, you know you did something right. I am very sad as this man was the man at the helm when I first started following Rangers and I fell in love with the team not just because of the history and the passion of the fans, but also because of this man and how he led his team and how genuine he was. This hurts me just as much as when Coach Dean Smith(Of the Tar Heels basketball team) passed away.
  5. I remember reading how hard Smith worked to get Beasley to play here and how much he was loved by everyone who played for him. My favorite player of all time, Claudio Reyna, even said that his time at Rangers was made all the more sweeter by having this man at the helm. When I first started watching Rangers, he was the man in charge. I'm heartbroken. Not just a great coach, but a great man also. A loss not just to us but to the world. RIP.
  6. I just have a feeling that we will win this one easily and be out of sight by halftime. We need to start being ruthless to teams and hopefully that starts on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I will be at work during the game;however I plan on complaining of stomach pains so can be locked in the shitter with my laptop doing the course of the game and nobody will think much of it.
  7. Just a natural scorer and seems to be a great teammate; can't ask for more than that.
  8. Obviously take the 3 points but overall pretty barren fucking performance against a team when looking at the talent of both squads we will really should be beating 4 to 5 nil. I have faith that we will reach the performance levels of last season especially when get back to 100% squad strength. However, needs to happen sooner rather than later as the race for the title will only get tighter and tighter. Can we pull away and win the title again comfortably? Sure. Will we if we continue to have these middle of the road performances? Very fucking much a toss up.
  9. My thoughts exactly. The dude acts like he is in grade school and frankly I would be pretty fucking embarrassed if I were a St. MIrren fan(But unfortunately a lot probably and/or think its funny what he has been saying). A lot of it is probably just straight jealously and I agree hope we demolish them.
  10. Their's 'banter' and then their's just being a prick for the sake of it. I know which one I'm leaning towards.
  11. Definitely on my must play list. Can't wait to listen to Lazlow again
  12. Can't help but respect the guy and his enthusiasm he has to lead us in the right direction. And fuck, reporters will always ask inane dumbass questions, never fails.
  13. Something in my family came up so couldn't watch the game live unfortunately but did just finish watching a replay of it. Very happy overall with the performance by the fellas and a much needed 3 points. I thought we controlled the tempo and were the superior team the whole night and easily could have had one or two more. At first glance Roofe looked offside to me but I think the right call in overturning it and giving us the goal. Aribo was fantastic my MotM and I would say overall everyone else played solid enough. Only criticism I would put forth is that I do think we need to be a bit more ruthless at times but overall can't really complain too much; a hard fought team victory and a 3 massive points in the group; that's all you can ask for.
  14. They have to make them sound better than they are because half the time I think nobody has ever fucking heard of them
  15. Bruce is not gonna go hungry and regardless of what he says about not wanting to do it anymore or whatever, if somebody offers him the right money or the right situation, you better fucking believe you will see his ass on the sidelines somewhere else. He can have no complaints, I think they gave him a lot of tools to succeed and he just didn't do anything with them.
  16. Don't know about everyone else but I'm nervous as heck for this one. It really is crunchtime if we want to have any chance of advancing to the next round. I don't care how we get it done tomorrow, just need to get it done. Own goal by Brondby, PK, don't give a fuck.
  17. I don't really give a fuck but you'd have to think this could be the last 45 minutes in Ole's Man U coaching career unless they can pull something out of their ass. Even a draw I don't think will save him.
