  1. They can't appeal the decision. It's not their investigation. The only people that could appeal the decision is the liquidators of the old holding company which is not going to happen. Just sit back and enjoy the meltdown. We took all the punsihment thrown at us and now play in the 3rd division. We did all this with dignitiy and class. They how ever have no class, no dignity and a lack of professionalism which is absolutely disgusting.
  2. We all knew they were steering everything in our direction and we were called paranoid. Well their reaction speaks fucking volumes. The dirty scummy bastards that they are.
  3. I think someone else pointed out that we still had a defence at that point. Goian and Boca were still here. If we learned anything over the years of success under Walter, it is that success is built from the back. Our defence is awful which in turn leads to us losing sloppy goals which against better teams is almost impossible to get back from as you have to forego cover at the back in order to go forward with any purpose. Oh, and Perry was awful. Was at fault for the first 2 goals and could have cost us more as Cribari was having to come out of position constantly to cover for him. Hopefully come September we will sign a couple of Centre Halfs who can actually defend.
  4. I think it should be one league of 40 with the league splitting into 2 and 38 after 22 games. You know, like it used to at Xmas.
  5. 16,16 and 10 with play offs at the end of the season. Pretty fucking simple. Why they come up with these split scenarios is beyond me. Scottish Football is already a fucking laughing stock. It doesn't need to sink any lower.
  6. With that approach, the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Aguero and Silva would never have been given a chance. In other words it is total bollocks.
  7. Jim Traynor is possibly the only Journo who actually comes out of this with his credibility intact.
  8. One factor which may be raised in an enquiry is that as a result of the case, HMRC were not the biggest creditor and had no legal right to refuse a CVA. I believe the largest creditor would have been TicketUS. Creditors and Shareholders surely would have some form of right of legal recompense from HMRC. If anything this makes an even bigger (if that is even possible) mockery of the SPL and SFA over their handling as they had declared us guilty before any findings had been released.
  9. This. Any player that is willing to put club before the league we are in gets full support from me, no matter who he previously played for. I can't actually believe we are even discussing this. Surely we have got beyond that now.
  10. To be fair, any SPL level players that want to sign for us now will only be enhancing their reputations and if the wages are on a par with most of the SPL sides they won't take a financial hit either. If they are still in the team when we get back into the top division they become instant legends so it's pretty much a win win for most.
  11. PS3 - Psychobudgie Steam - Psychobudgie XBLive - Stick it up yer pokie.
  12. I cannot see how they can sanction the club as it hasn't broken any rules. The old corporate entity allegedly broke rules and they are welcome to sanction the shit out of that but the new corporate entity bought the assets and that is all. They gave up their right to set sanctions when the voted the club out of the SPL and sent it to the bottom tier. So in a nutshell. No. Fuck them. I assume if any of them fall to the sword during the season they will all be shown the same level of understanding we were.
  13. Green will do what is right for the club in a business sense if his prior is anything to go by, no matter what the support thinks. On the plus side, it is very unlikely we will ever run up debt again while he is in charge of the club.
  14. Rangers should buy the rights and sell them via the Website. Division 3 TV rights surely can't cost more than a 250k. Buy them, screen every game live online for £5 a match or bundle it with Rangers TV for £10 a month. 10,000 subscribers * £120 = profit.
  15. Bullshit I was a season ticket holder during the early 80s and it was scary the number of supporters that were posted missing. I recall watching us playing St Mirren and I sware there couldn't have been more than 5000 at the ground. That was in the Premier League, I really am fearful for us in the lower leagues. I'm hoping that the kicking we are currently getting manages to incentivise supporters enough to keep attending despite the league we are in or level we are playing. Oh and those fuck nuggets cancelling season tickets to make some sort of grand gesture, go do one.
  16. One thing that has been completely missed by these clubs and their self serving support is the impact on their local economy. Pubs, Take Away's, B&Bs, shops, etc are all going to be hit big time. I would assume the additional income some of these businesses receive for an Old Firm business is a very nice boost to their revenue.
  17. I'll be surprised if we still have enough players to make up a team come the July 5th. Utterly fed up with it all now. The SPL can cry integrity all they like but they have absolutely none. I really hope the same fate befalls the sorry lot of them over the next couple of years. I have no doubt that Aberdeen and Hearts will go at some point in the next 12 months. As for Celtic, I hope they enjoy playing in front of empty stadiums, because despite what all these so called supporters of the small teams are shouting about, nobody other than the most die hard of supporter will go and watch a one horse race and I don't expect sponsors to be too eager to stump up money either.
  18. They are a huge company with quite a well known involvement in Football, including Man Utd and Sunderland so very doubtful that they would have anything to do with a shyster like Whyte.
  19. They aren't leaving now, they are expressing their option to not transfer within the 28 day period that TUPE requires. The fact that TUPE doesn't have anything in it with regards to player registration has not only left them open to breach of contract but it has in all likelyhood ended any Rangers career they had if it transpires TUPE doesn't apply. Personally, they are all showing themselves for the greedy self serving twats that they really are. Yes they took pay cuts, but to express they wish to opt out and deny any transfer fee to the club is simply ludicrous. Barring Aluko who's contract is up at the end of June they really are taking the absolute piss. As for Naismith, he spent the best part of 3 years on the sidelines injured, earning money for his own inability to tackle properly. We rewarded him with a new long term contract and that's how he thinks he should pay back the supporters who spent their hard earned money through the gates in order to pay his fucking salary. Whittaker, however, can fuck right off. Underperformed and overpaid last season. Him leaving, if reports of his salary were true, is a stroke of luck and we should buy him his train ticket to the championship. I am really angry at the way these players and others are treating our club and attempting to justify it. The club is not the company holding the registration, it is the ground, the players and most importantly the much abused fans who pay for it all. These twats should remember that.
  20. It isn't as black and white as the papers are reporting. As I understand it, Rangers hold the players registration and the players, while they could theoretically refuse to accept a new employment contract their registration as a footballer is still held be Rangers. This is due to being registered as a Professional Player with the governing body which enables them to play Football professionally. No registration, no football. Registration is not a contract and is not covered by TUPE. In a nutshell, they can walk away from Rangers and go work as a plumber but football wouldn't be an option until someone pays for the registration documents while it is held by the club and while the contract of the player is within period. Aluko would have to wait a month while others with 3 or 4 year contracts could find themselves in court trying to get the registration released and could be counter sued by the club. It is the reason why there is a transfer window. If normal employment law applied the transfer window wouldn't exist and would indeed, likely be illegal.
  21. The BBC is reporting that Aberdeen have come out and said they will vote no so that's us out of the SPL as Celtic, Hearts, Dundee Utd and Hibs have already come forward and said they will also vote no. Fuck the lot of them. They are not punishing the club, they are punishing the support for the actions of one man, Craig Whyte and while Murray may well have sold us up the river it has still yet to be decided as to the outcome of the big tax case. If anyone is complicit in Whyte's appointment, it is the very self serving arseholes who vote on our future as a club. They did not say anything when he came forward to propose the takeover, they didn't look into his history or whether he was fit and proper. We as supporters are helpless but they insist on sticking the boot in. Well fuck them all. They are about to put Scottish Football out to pasture for their own self serving petty point scoring. I just cancelled Sky Sports and ESPN as I have absolutely need for it if the team I support isn't on it. If the opportunity appears and Rangers can somehow launch their own TV Channel or Online Broadcasts of games I'll happily give my money directly to the club instead. I also hope that now Celtic won't have us backing them up with the 11-1 voting system that the other's now turn their attention to them and royally fuck them over with regards to TV Money, Sponsorship and fixtures. You reap what you sew.
  22. Doesn't matter. Nothing to stop them selling to Smith and Co for a profit. I was under the impression that Smith's consortium were looking to make an offer to Green and not the Administrators anyway. All the statement says is that the Club's assets are now safe (or their definition of safe).
  23. To be honest m8, the Hotel in Ukraine is probably fully booked.
  24. Don't believe any of it, though the Administrators are obliged to get the most money they can if they are selling off any assets.
  25. Peter Lawell is banking on the Sky deal being ripped up. He has absolutely no interest in Scottish Football. His only interest is making money and him being able to sell TV rights without the rest of Scottish Football is no doubt what he's aiming for. Without TV, Celtic like everyone else in the SPL will wither and die as Sponsors abandon ship.
