  1. I agree that there is so much more required or expected from a Rangers player, Kenny Millar seems to be well aware of this, Davie Weir should have been but, hell, who knows. Aberdeen will bottle it as they always do. Hearts will not make up the 8 points in the time left as they will lose to Celtic and Aberdeen among others. Few of Warburtons choices of player are good enough but maybe some, like Tav, could be re-energised by some miracle or other. Maybe if a new manager comes in willing to read up on the opposition, take advantage of their weaknesses, try different formations, the players we have could get some confidence: but a lot of ifs ands or buts in an uncertain future.
  2. Thanks, every Rangers supporter is well aware of the larger reasons we are in this position. But Hearts and Aberdeen have been able to compete fairly well with a lot less than Warburton had to play with. King and this board will not be looking to do much more this season financially because they will still need to dig deep after the summer.
  3. Read that again and tell me where I blame Warburton directly for us not having money. Warburton did not buy wisely, that is not the same as saying its his fault we have no money. But Garner at over a million and Dembele at under a million is a useful example. We don't have money because we don't have money. It is arguable whether this is D King's fault or all the way back to Murray via Green and so many other muppets.
  4. It has been said before on here but here it is again anyway: Rangers have no money. One of the reasons we are in this place presently is because Warburton laid out what he had on Garner, Barton, Nico and the rest. Getting rid of Warburton in the way we did saved us a few quid (even if he wins a case it will only mean under a million to us/him). Any manager handling this team of non-achievers has to do so with no funds and so realistically will only take the job if he is currently unemployed/cheap. By the time we make the end of the season we might have European money and Season Ticket sales to play with and so a large portion of that could be used up in new manager/coaching staff wages and a possible 3 or 4 players of the calibre that new management team deem worthy or necessary. Which simplified down means that Rangers must make and mend until the end of the season. We will see a more defensive Rangers team. It will be brutal to watch. We will finish 2nd.
  5. He won't break the bank and we are skint, he will steady the ship till end of season then we will use or waste the season ticket money on somebody else and whatever players they want or we can afford. Eck fits the bill, he's not working, he'd jump at the chance and no questions.
  6. Under 20s coach forced into a position he'd never imagine, doesn't matter what team his dad supported. He did the job for one game. He's not in any way responsible for the players on the field playing as they are. 100% win record and back to the kids tomorrow. Thank you.
  7. Eck in tomorrow, get defence sorted, first priority. Get to end of season, De Boer and clear out.
  8. Neither of those players could lace up the boots of a Ranger legend you sorry delusional and perhaps drunk person.
  9. ok, saves us a few quid but who takes charge for the rest of the season? McCoist, Bomber, Kenny Millar?
  10. Dons winning with a game in hand, its critical we win the 3 points.
  11. Even a last minute equaliser won't cut it. We need every 3 points going, plain and simple.
  12. What I find would be delusional would be to expect that team, for the money, to be where they are. That group of so-called Rangers players are lucky to be where they are. It's not good enough, they're not good enough. Over the course of a season I would imagine we should do enough to take 2nd spot but seriously, if we want more we are going to have to find some massive investment, and quick.
  13. As has been said before, and nothing has changed, Rangers do not have the money to sack Warburton or the money to buy the kind of replacement we really need. Nothing has changed. We sit in 2nd spot and must defeat Aberdeen to stay there. Hearts will not sustain any kind of challenge. This is where we are.
  14. can i just say loudly and without shame, i despise Hibs.
  15. Is it not the case that these people have incriminated themselves with what they have said (even in jest). Never say anything in life you wouldn't say out in the bright clean light of day, then theres nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of.
  16. We cannot afford it. We cannot afford to get shot of him. We cannot afford the best kind of players and so have to make do with the kind of players we have. We cannot afford to keep losing to lesser teams, no disrespect intended but it's basic. If Celtic drop points it will be a drop in the ocean. If we drop points it will be money lost from a run in Europe. If we finish the season in 2nd place its nothing to celebrate it's just a position to build from. Warburton has shown many managerial qualities but tactics seem to be an area most of us are unhappy with. To move forward we will have to wait and see.
  17. By all means give Kiernan plenty of stick, third-rate mistake from a 2nd rate player. But keep some criticism for the rest of the team, who, surely, should be able to score in 45 against that sh*te.
  18. Never once have I suggested Rangers should not take money from people who are stupid/clever/short/fat/left/right/deluded/realistic or purple with stripes. Anyone is free to support our club. Just saying that falling for the baloney spouted by fat Eck and wee nippy and her Nationalist cohorts is laughable. Heres a Proddie fact, the idea of accessible education in every Scottish parish comes directly from John Knox and acts of the reformation. Nothing to do with the RC church or the insult to education that Nationalist liars have presided over these last 10 years. If you are/were a Rangers family person who cared about your country and the education of our people you'd be enraged and embarrassed over what we've become. I don't want to alienate or exclude anyone from being proudly Scottish or supporting a similar football team, but I reserve the right to call a person an idiot or a scumbag based on what they say and do rather than that they wear the same colours or different colours from mine. Or to simplify even further, if Goering liked smokey bacon I would still eat it, but Goering's still a fat dead Nazi twat!
  19. Just because someone claims to support Rangers doesn't make them a decent lovely complete wonderful human being. In fact my old Granddad was a right bugger. But even he would never have supported gaseous fake windbag Nationalists.
  20. I believe that looking out for the people around me helps to make a world thats worth living in for my kids.
  21. Supporting a political party which has no actual fixed policy except to destroy the United Kingdom at any cost is verging on the fairly 'trashy' though isn't it?
  22. Labour may have a large number of Celtic support but those exact same Glasgow City Council defended the union and took a hell of a lot of stick for defending the marching season and the rights of many of the poorest of our city, plus they stand by Trade Unions and basic balancing of their books with funding for more than just toilet signs in Gaelic. Labour are far from perfect but I'll take Labour instead of pie-in-the-sky, wave a flag and nurse your delusions - Nationalists. Holidays, sick pay, prescriptions for those who cannot afford it, education for all, a health service for all, parks, sheltered housing, transport, equality none of this was ever provided by any Nationalist government anywhere, ever.
  23. SNP propaganda piece today that many of them are stupid enough to believe "I am sitting here on my laptop with my free medical prescription, reading with my free prescription glasses, not paying so much because the council tax is frozen, my grand kids are off to a good free nursery school and later they will get free school meals, my daughter is going to university for a free education, and they ask what the SNP has ever done for me, blah blah lies lies." Well you deluded delusional Nationalists, why is everyone no matter how much they earn getting something which costs somebody money getting it for free? Why are there fewer places for the poorest Scots while the rich get a free ride? Who introduced a decent education before the SNP sent it to the bottom of the European league tables, Labour did. Who argues to pay and fund proper nursery and free school meals for all our kids not just a lucky few? Not the SNP. Our children and our old people always had free glasses and hopefully always will, but only if you unfreeze tax and start being realistic about the fact that nothing of quality comes for free. And while we are at it, how about we open up the child abuse enquiries to include football clubs and the Catholic church so we can really do what is right to protect the people of Scotland and keep them safe?
  24. Fully behind Kezia Dugdale yet again, defending the union this week and making it clear that all aspects of Scottish culture and life should be open to investigation and prosecution. SNP once again shown to be a hollow empty shell of delusion and division.
  25. I've said it already and I'll repeat it again and again if needs be. This thread is not asking us whether we proscecute anyone if there is evidence against them. If it were asking that, I'd vote in agreement. To be clear: all of the guilty should be punished with every element of the law. This crime should be out in the clear light of day.
