  1. I would prefer to look at our success and the way it continues, unlike some of these "businessmen" most people can eventually see that Scottish football needs big teams with huge support, it is a pity that without Hibs, Rangers, or Hearts no other team could offer Celtic any kind of sustained competition last season and yet again this season neither Aberdeen or Hearts could really manage to get it up. This has affected SPFL business, footballing quality, and income. Similarly we would be equally short-sighted to cut off our noses by holding a grudge against these clubs or not visiting their stadiums, don't forget, but don't let it get in the way of supporting Rangers or taking their money. They are not our friends but they are our competition. Finally, the greatest revenge is success. All our focus should be on beating these teams where it matters, on the football field.
  2. All I really care about is Rangers but I'm rooting for Leicester, happy to see Villa go down, delighted to see Newcastle fail, and seeing Dundee United suffer brings a smile to my twisted face, add to that Hibs struggling against bottom Alloa and possibly losing out to Falkirk in promotion chances it's all good. If only Aberdeen could have given Celtic an actual challenge this season. There should be a Scottish word for schadenfroid. There really should. Maybe thrawn.
  3. One thing Ally will know, not much I'm sure, but he will know that this kind of thing puts good pressure on money men to fund any manager. Looked at in those terms I think Ally is trying to be helpful. I'd suggest he'd help more by just working with a golf charity raising money for others or something.
  4. Absolutely. Not to mention that no other club would/could have been treated so harshly. Our once pragmatic country is filled with delusion, hypocrisy, and flag-waving eejits.
  5. Would happily go to watch Barca but if Barca were playing Rangers I'd still be supporting the Glasgow team.
  6. As someone else said elsewhere, last night Rangers Hib's'd it, today Aberdeen and Hearts Hibs'd it, and now to top it all off Hibs have Hibs'd it.
  7. cocky arrogance and thinking its game over at 2-0, and when they get a goal its a panic, if they'd kept cool they could have pushed on for 3-1 but best case scenario it's more pressure on Hibs.
  8. We're "New" Rangers when we beat them (whoever the f*k they are): old Rangers if they were ever to take anything off of us.
  9. A couple of key players injured and its over, but they could do it, it would be incredible mind.
  10. Yeh, if you have the courage to stand up against sectarianism you are a coward, aye, right! While hiding among a massive crowd shouting offensive sh*te makes you a 'big man'. Utter delusion. Both sides the same, both sides equal measures of good and bad.
  11. http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/club-statement-59/ My club has a clear position on this and I support Rangers Football Club.
  12. Someone of our faith my arse. I don't believe in any invisible pals. I support Rangers and would rather be talking about the football, not the baggage.
  13. We took a very good start and a massive lead and lost it (the lead not the Championship). Manager and players keep saying they had a good talk about what went wrong and learned from it and will put it right next week. Next week comes along and no sign they learned at all. It is the managers fault. It is also the players fault. Still, long way to go yet.
  14. Used the term 'stolen' (note the punctuation around that word) to suggest the lack of clarity over how money has been directed straight into the pockets of various suits mismanaging Rangers for some time. And yes, perhaps I have made some excuses. No excuse for those who claimed Rangers were no longer in existence however.
  15. I don't want them back but it is a fact that Rangers the club would not have seen a penny from selling these men, the likes of Green and various other tossers would have "stolen" any money. And who would want to keep playing for Ally anyway. Not making excuses for them, but few players at the upper levels would go down to play in the Scottish lower divisions, well done the lads who stayed but lets be realistic.
  16. Considering our trouble and finances, to do this while Celtic are dragging their heels, despite bringing in European money and tv money, fills me with pride. Good news.
  17. We all accept that Celtic, the not so stupid ones at least, now begin to realise they need Rangers. It would be equally stupid if we did not accept that Rangers need to be in a competitive and challenging league: so we do indeed need to have working relationships (call it bridge building if you like). Rangers could not compete in Europe without a strong group of teams to play against regularly. Of course they hate us, I wouldn't have it any other way. They hate us because we matter. i'd prefer it if we all just respected one another and the football was the thing not some cultural cancer.
  18. Mental. If you were a homosexual would you prefer to work a) with women. or b) with lots of men.
  19. The right approach for me is the same for any person in the public eye, its nobody's business and doesn't stop him/her from doing their job. Make no announcement. The rest of us don't need to run around telling everyone we're heterosexual.
  20. In this day and age having 'clampet family' teeth, who is that, plug from the Bash Street Kids!
  21. A language that only a tiny percent actually speak and we all have to put up with it, how bizarre if BBC had a TV Urdu, or TV Mandarin, because more people in Scotland speak those languages. It really rips my knitting.
  22. I'll take Rangers playing decent entertaining football and never giving up till its over, and if that means a last minute winner instead of a 5-0 destruction so be it, but next time we play Hearts I want absolute slaughter.
