  1. Agreed that there are plenty of players have performed well under difficult circumstances but equally there are plenty who probably haven't. Again, yes it was his choice to play at this time but from what I understand he was desperate to play after a lengthy absence and because of the importance of the matches. I admire him for that and I also don't think he was our worst performer today, far from it, but I agree that the fitness, game time and out of position didn't help him or us?
  2. I've said it before this week. Dorrans should have taken the week off due to tragic family events that would fuck with anyone's mindset! theres no way he was in the right frame of mind for last weeks game never mind today. Murty knew of this but still chose to play him? Strange?
  3. Never mind the board, it was Unbelievable the amount of posters on here who wanted him? massive bullet dodged and he will be gone in the summer I think! still good to see them suffer though!
  4. I would cut Dorrans a bit of slack as he has had some tragic family events to deal with. Surprised he actually played last week and yesterday.
  5. vape section will be cool. no pyro, no party!
  6. Was unable to attend due to last minute work but I am sure it was a great evening. I am sure the halls caretaker took great care of you all?
  7. Really? Shitebag? stopped going to that midden years ago, simply don't want to put any money in their pockets! equally hate them at our place, would rather see more fellow Bears in the seats.
  8. For all the apologists please answer this? Why should they be treated any differently to any other team that comes to visit? bear in mind our allocation was drastically cut at their dump and we were placed where?
  9. This guy didn't grow up a Bear but by God he certainly knows what we are all about and his love and respect he has for us comes through very clearly. i believe, if given the chance to see this out til the end of the season, that he will deliver! and who knows? If he gets through this period and gets a result against them, we could be looking at a serious title challenge!
  10. Sorry to hear of his passing. like others I didn't know the big man but the words he spoke were what we were all thinking and feeling! RIP George and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this sad time.
  11. Does nobody factor in that new players, especially from out with Scotland, need time to settle in to our style of play here?
  12. With regards to McInnes I still fail to see or understand just what he would bring to us to take us forward? i am obviously missing something that others can see or is it down to the fact he's one of us? In these 2 games he was out thought tactically by a youth team coach. i would have no worries if Murty was given til the end of the season to see what he could do.
  13. As a grumpy auld git I actually applaud their efforts and appreciate the atmosphere they create, home and away. just wish they had the full stand as that really would be a sight to behold! Instead of stuck in the corner?
  14. Concerns me a bit? i do hope he's not thinking of leaving the club and is referring to the managers position, simply because I think he has a lot more to offer us in the long term. would still like him to be appointed assistant manager, if possible, but if not then for him to remain in the coaching staff.
  15. Thought it was the rhat? why is he allowed anywhere near our press conferences?
  16. But who? you must have someone in mind or would you rather it be anyone out with our current board? if I remember correctly there wasn't many up for the challenge before King and co? unfortuanatly I doubt very much anyone would be willing at this moment in time who would take the challenge on. our problem is the players that Warbs inherited from McCoist then Pedro inherited from him. Although our squad falls way short from where we should be we need a good manager that will be afforded a bit of time to build a solid squad. as supporters we maybe demand too much too soon without seeing the long game. if we keep calling for and getting heads when things go wrong then we will achieve nothing. todays game is a case in point. yes it wasn't good enough, we all know that, but what are the alternatives open to us just now? can hardly blame Murty, he can only work with what he's got and if we have players who should step up and take responsibility on the park but relinquish that requirement or are simply not good enough there's little he or or board can do.
  17. So who do you have in mind to take us over and run the club?
  18. Who are the interested parties that want to buy/ take us over?
  19. Mine was the early 70s. Pretty sure it was 71? And we drew with Ayr Utd. My fondest memory was the excitement building up to the game and travelling on the bus with my Dad and his big mate Wullie Stewart.
