  1. Not only is Barton a better footballer than Brown (if Brown was so good he would have moved to an EPL club at least once in his life), Barton is also far more intelligent than him. Can't wait till the first Old Firm as I can see Barton using his skill and intelligence to really take the piss out of Brown. As long of course that we don't come across some really shitty refs who has Barton suspended by that time.
  2. We got Barton on a free transfer so it proves that there could be a good quality of player available and getting good quality players without paying a transfer fee gives us an option of actually offering better wages to attract players out of contract. I just don't agree that we should pay a fee for a player if we don't have to just to prove doubters wrong, I don't give a shit about them, and as already been stated MW is the person who has been identifying the targets that he wants if all of his targets don't have transfer fees then they don't have transfer fees simple as that.
  3. Why do people keep talking about King paying a fee for players? MW has been identifying the targets that he wants and if they are all Bosmans then no fee would be involved. If there is a target who will require a fee then we might not here about it till the actual transfer window opens.
  4. Sooooo the press was totally wrong then? What a surprise!
  5. I believe the numbers he's talking about does not include Kranjcar as that's basically a done deal if he passes his medical so it would be 3 or 4 more after him.
  6. Which is why I also mentioned the European League thingy
  7. In all honesty I read it as competing in the CL or the European league thing that had been discussed and mentioned in the press before.
  8. But he also hasn't said if we don't, also depends on how you interpret his response, his comment about the manager identifying the targets and the Executive Committee approaching players and clubs to try and get those targets. That can be read that the club are actually trying to get whatever targets the manager has identified.
  9. Glad AS have finally provided the necessary information to Rangers to settle the compensation issue so these lads can start training properly with their new team mates.
  10. No surprise with the decision and even if they had decided to investigate at any time they would have still ruled in our favour as we never hid anything an we've never refused to pay any taxes owed anyway.
  11. But you didn't acknowledge it either! Also clear you didn't really understand what I was saying. I DID NOT say that we should approach the club to support any fundraising attempt or any form of clarification. My whole two posts on the matter was to discuss with the club if THE CLUB would provide some support to help pay for any possible legal costs that some fans might have to incur especially as those fans only went onto the park to protect players and staff that were being attacked and to protect families (with children) that were under threat of being accosted by HIbs fans. And again my initial question was if ANY fan group had attempted to approach the club to support the fans that might end up being in some sort of predicament. If some of these groups do or did and the club said "NO" then fine but at least we would have had an answer.
  12. Yeah brilliant idea, said in another thread (can't remember which one) that I thought it would be good if our youngsters could compete in this competition. Mmmm It would be good if I got the winning Lottery Numbers this Saturday!
  13. I'm sure if the report is true that there won't be too many issues of getting a new deal signed.
  14. It's got everything to do with it. HAS any of these fan groups approached the club? It's a simple question and if approached in the right way can give good publicity to the different groups and the club and it could also be used to help create a good relationship between groups and the clubs. And if you had bothered to read my full post I clearly stated that I have no issues with the VB initiative.
  15. I have absolutely no issues with anything like this but I need to know if fan's groups like VB etc (ie the new fans group) have actually approached the club first and asked them if they are willing to defend their own fans both morally, legally and financially for the issues that were caused by Hibs fans.
  16. He should go onto that show Undercover Boss might be an eye opener for him!
  17. Good read but I felt it was actually a bit short there was so much more she could have said about the game and the actions of the Hivs fans and the fallout from that.
  18. Don't you have internet access? Would probably be easier if you set up an online account and do it that way. I know what you mean about phoning though, I have a Pay as you Go gives me free minutes, internet and unlimited txts but you can't phone these numbers which charge you more than a normal standard rate.
  19. LOL That is what Spurs do! It's not Spurs signing 4 of our potential Academy players.
  20. Liam has said he has achieved a dream by signing for Rangers. "Hamilton youngster Liam Morgan last week achieved a dream by signing for Rangers. The 10-year-old from Whitehill has been at Murray Park for a year and a half now, and put pen to paper officially at Ibrox last Wednesday. Beckford Primary P5 pupil Liam was picked up by a Rangers scout while playing for Blantyre Soccer Academy and mum Lee admits it was a wrench to leave them, but he simply couldn’t refuse the opportunity to sign for the Glasgow giants. Lee said: “Myself, his dad Paul, brother Logan and sisters Lisamarie and Lilymae are all so proud of Liam." Bet's you were all wondering WHO?
  21. Just showed how the French players rated McKay if as soon as he got the ball 3 players went to surround him. Scotland will be lucky to get any sort of win in the World Cup qualifiers if the Ginger Minge is still in charge and continues to pick and play the dross that he does.
  22. Now over 33,000 sold highest renewal figure ever recorded would be very surprised if we didn't break the 43,170 record for ST holders.
