I believe the problem runs deeper than Burley..........The SFA, SPL, SFL will get off lightly if Burley is made a scapegoat...the whole format needs to change

Are the SFA still taking suggestions on how to make the Scottish game better? (they were wanting fans input not so long ago) I feel myself a project coming along!!

I really think the Scottish game needs a complete overhaul from national team to SPL to SFL 1, 2 and 3 it needs to change The answer to this is not an SPL2 that they (the cheap suits and ties) seem to think. It's time for the SFA/SPL to be accounted for letting the country and football fans down.

I hope the SFA get their act together and get on the blower to Souness asap.....there will be no boozegate, no stupid squad selections, no scottish player overlooked regardless of where they play (if ur in the championship your in as far as Birley is concerned), there will be no half assed attemps from players like Commons and McCormack who run hot and cold in matches. He will instil a new sense of detirmination and rule with an iron fist, roaring from the front and giving his all....making sure his players give their all. That's what Scotland need because we don't have any worldclass individuals....we need a determined team!!

I thought the sending off was as harsh as sliding down a slide made of sand paper but the fundamental problem is the squad Burley picked wasn't up to it....was he drinking while he picked his squad? Marshall - Shaky although he couldn't do anything about the goals Davidson - shite with or without the ball Alexander - good to put a foot in but he losses the ball as soon as he gets it Stephen Caldwell looks out of his depth against Carew...Burnley will go down Fletcher is being wasted in his system........will somebody tell Burley that he is a DM ffs Miller, Brown, Fletch and Hutton are running their hearts out for the cause Commons and McCormack didnt seem to want to get involved we had an alright first 10 minutes.... I have no idea what burley is going to do at ht to turn this around...probably pour himself another? Burley needs to go IMO....lost all confidence for the man, give the job to anyone who doesnt see Graeme Alexander as one of the countries star players off to watch the 2nd half...

I don't like Burley's philosophy of if you play in England your good enough for the Scotland squad Hartley, Alexander, McAllister and Davidson.... Why has he called up a RB to play in the centre of midfield....what about Gavin Rae or Marcus Stewart or Barry Nicholson or Scott Robinson alright they're not world beaters but imo still better than playing the prehistoric rb Alexander or the fatboy gypsy Hartley calling 2 LB's over 30 who aren't great... when the younger Mulgrew and Wallace are doing alright for their clubs And then giving Marshall the number 1 jersey after he spent the last season picking the ball out of his own net....Alexander has kept out Allan McGregor ffs... and should be Rangers and Scotland number 1 imo regardless if bench warmer Gordon is fit or not I just hope we can win....any win...1-0....9-8 just as long as we get the the 3 points

I'm English and I support and would rather watch Scotland (in an international including the rugby union)...I love it!!! I have Scottish family and I qualify under the Grandad rule (lol) plus my surname is Scottish and it means more to me to watch a team I know is going to give a billion percent for the country!! I get pelters off the English side of the family and some of my mates....but fuck it im British supporting all the home nations, I just take more notice and an active interest in Scotland!! I'd thought id share that as I believe you can support both club and country - even if the country isnt technically yours to support!! But Burley is getting on my man breasts he has 0 enthusiasm and it rubs off do you not think?

I can tell the season has started as I am reminded by how much I hate United fans...there playing the "cheated" card!!

I think they're phenomenal Fletcher has come in and done extremely well in the absence of Hargreaves. Can't see Hargreaves getting back into the side when he gets fit tbh

I'd give my left testicle to see Evra in a Rangers shirt....I really think he is the best LB in the world. I read an article somewhere that the gers have a LB in the youth team trying to mould his game on Evra...if he has a tenth of Evra's talent id be happy!!
