  1. Smith is a very exciting prospect at LM so I would keep him there also, his crosses are deadly His delivery at set pieces are quality....granted his not the best in the world at it but much better than what we have and he has made our attacking set pieces more dangerous with the fundemantals we were lacking - a good cross

    Moyes

I know we've heard this before but apparently the toop 6 in England have submitted a proposal to break away and have a 2 division Premiership of 18 teams each (because they are tired of subsidising League One and below) They want Rangers and Celtic as part of Div 2. Prob a lot of shite but that bastion of journalistic integrity that is The Sunday Mirror claims it's a goer ! yeah ive just read that article in the mirror....I can't see it happening to be fair. The EPL makes too much moeny as it is and the format clearly works.
  3. no but i hope to see him do his mad win celebration against celtic on saturday
  4. I was thinking watching him in the stands...If I was Rangers manager I would never be in the stands because if something went wrong I could be there hands on. Not only that but if we were to get a wrong result thats the first thing angry fans would comment on. But I also think it would be better if he got a com system like Big Sam Alladyce in his Bolton days so he can talk to the bench at any time instead of seeing McCoist shouting up to the stands I mean a piece of string and 2 cups would be an improvement on that because we really look like we have no clue when that happens
  5. Your photos are amazing......fantastic pics McB
  6. still dont want him back in the XI though as although the team was poor the central midfield positions were more balanced and allowed Mendes to find space, produce some good passing moves and play in a more advanced role. Get Davis in the centre or bring Edu in against St Mirren I thought Edu did well when he came on.
  7. because id like us to do the simple things as well as that... I thought they had good movement, kept the ball on the floor, kept hold of it and wernt in a rush to lose possession. They used the wings and had fantastic width. They are bottom of the league and not one of them looked uncomftable on the ball today like some of our players who thought the ball was a ticking time bomb about to go off and got rid of it quick sticks I hope Falkirk dont go down after that because they actually play good football and would be a loss to the league in my opinion.
  8. Yes it was and I agree. He would have built on that. as well as the double over united!
  9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7981215.stm where on earth have Aerdeen got the money to be looking into building a new stadium espeially in this economic crisis? I know its only in the planning stages but do you reck it will ever happen? does anybody care lol
  10. Edu in the short term and Thomson in the long term
  11. its up to Alexander to take his chance now times are uncertain for McGregor and if Alexander pusts in a good shift then who knows he may be first choice from now on
  12. Steven Whittaker was one of them He doesn't represent our club, he's pish! But Whittaker conducted himself properly afterwards yes he had a drink, but he accepted his bollocking from Burley, he didnt fire the V's to the national and internationla press, he didnt put the Rangers name under any strain and didnt refuse to train with the substitutes....Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor did all the above on Wednesday and its shocking.....we expect this of the scum but not of our own!!!
  13. It will be interesting to see if barry talks his way out of it apperently Murray is a good friend so 1 of 2 things will come of this Barry will go or Smith will go, and tbh id rather Barry went
  14. GO ON WALTER....Barry and Shagger made me sick this week - Drinking in the same week you have 3 games in 8 days - V signs made towards the press, instead of holding your hands up and saying "aye, I did wrong" but im gonna work for you I wont let you down again, with his actions it showed the world how dare you drop me, toys out of the pram and it was disgusting because even though this happened with the Scotland team the name Rangers dragged through the mud. Its unforgiveable!! Its not the Rangers way or the act of a Rangers captain in my eyes - Saying I want to silence critics, then giving them ammo like this then not being able to take it when the press rightly report his story.. - the lack of respect he seems to have for authority in PLG and now Burley, ok Burley is a wank but if you play for him he deserves respect. - Refusing to warm up with the substitures when dropped when Scotland faced Iceland....your not bigger than Rangers your not bigger than Scotland in fact ur not bigger than most people you boarderline dwarf!! Advocaat you still want him take him 2mill and hes yours. I was up until this week Barrys biggest fan I though this was a dip in form but now he can GTF, I dont want to see him in Rangers or Scotland colours any more. Walter Smith thankyou for doing the morally right thing and lets get working to bring thiis title home!!!! ps dont give weir the armband, give it davis ffs
  15. aw man, everytime I see Papac make an awful pass or try to attempt to play football I always think why hasnt Stevie been given a go.....Like everyone said here I hope he has a long and distinguished career in football its just a shame it wasnt to be at the gers after all that promise and potential he had
  16. I am glad the international break came where it did because imo Mendes has looked tired.... i'm not saying I would of dropped him but rested deffo
  17. I don't know what people are expecting from Fletcher. What he did last night is essentially what he does for Man United - he was the water carrier in midfield, he broke up some of their play and (unlike against Holland which was a poor performance from him) he kept hold of possession quite well. He's never going to offer a great deal creatively and it doesn't go hand in hand that a defensive minded midfielder who plays at a higher level will emerge as an attacking threat when he plays with a poorer side. That's all Fletcher is ever going to offer, but put him in a side where other players can create things and he'll be an asset, as he is at Man United. good analysis, but you have got to agree that his level of tenacity drops when playing for Scotland than for United.....but then again that's probably a motivational thing, and SAF is the best in the world at getting his players up for a battle
  18. ------------------McGregor Hutton----Caldwell----McManus-----Naysmith Brown----Ferguson----Fletcher------Morrison ---------------Miller----McCormack just as long as Alexander and Teale arnt in the starting XI, id be happy. Teale should've never made the squad
