  1. Brown was a 5 at best. He is the classic example of a player who's game was based on high octane energy and harrying the opponent into mistakes but now that injury and age are setting in his lack of actual ability is being laid laughably bare. Meanwhile his old gaffers and media pals continue to perpetuate the myth that he is a great player with something to offer at a high level. Which is great for us because the longer he is treated as the central cog in their side the better!
  2. I think Burt might get a wee appearance but everyone else near the ready stage is out on loan. Hardie would have been a stick on but he's getting on well enough where he is. Was good to see him involved in the celebrations. Another sign that Warburton really rates the lad. Making sure he was part of it and getting a wee taste.
  3. When he said all the Scots Premier chairmen should stand up, take a step back from there seats and applaud Rangers for a magnificent achievement ? Speccy Thompson and Milne will have launched the caviar at the wall upon hearing that. Declan's, Antons and Aidens all over Scotland choked with sheer fury. Hope he is a guest of the board for the Semi!
  4. Was a superb player but i always had the feeling he had so much more in reserve. had the passimg and vision to murder teams but rarely used it to full effect
  5. McCann summed this very thing up superbly using Rory Loy as an example. Basically said when a side has an attacking edge (as Dundee do with Loy, Hemmings, Harkins and Stewart) and a superior attacking side forces those guys to run constantly in the direction they really don't want to then the morale drops and the head goes. Tiredeness then kicks in. A very good point all round.
  6. I think this is why Warbs took time to praise the conditioning and nutrition guys. He was able to give guys a day or two off knowing that physically they would be fine thanks to months and months of careful management by those guys. This is a team effort from top to bottom and it is just superb.
  7. We win. Spoon burners crash and burn. Oh and Hardie grabbed the winner for Raith. Carlsberg!
  8. When games come tick n fast and outfield players tire a solid keeper comes into his own. Big Wes did that today. A last line of defence that actually means what it says. Yeah he could take control of crosses a wee bit more but I still think the 2 Hiv mistakes are in his mind a wee bit so plays safe. Excellent so far but encouragingly I think he still has a lot of development in him.
  9. He literally echoes what Warbs said and rightly so. i believe he is a stick on to be a coach if he wants it. Warburton is the manager Miller has been waiting for his whole career.
  10. He is using them to raise his profile and set himself up for the Girodome. As much as i can't be annoyed with him he is working the limelight that we have given him especially well. our dream scenario is once we dispose of Ronny Dire they see The Beak as a genuine option. Almost Mowbray-esque and we know how brilliant that was. Encourage them I say!
  11. Only used it on my phone so far but I think it's a huge improvement. Navigation is more fluid
  12. Think Walsh is genuinejy rated so this makes perfect sense. I think that, like wee McKay, this will be the making of him.
  13. I think this will see Bell punted and young Liam Kelly sent out for some valuable experience. Warbs has kept LK in first team training so must rate the boy. Year out somewhere half decent will do him the world of good.
  14. I don't care (or know) what leanings the boy Cummings has but he'd fit us like a glove. 6 months with tutelage from Miller and Waggy and he'd rip the Premier to shreds. We can glory in beating our rivals but lets not forget to cherry pick the talent enroute.
  15. The guy screams 'top administrator and a safe pair of hands'. Everything an MD is meant to be. His 'building relationships' comment could easily mean harnessing the goodwill we have built in the lower leagues and bringing that voting power to a head with us as the enabler. Quite easily and many a Premier chairman will jump ship when they realise that. Loved the sense of purpose and reality the boy has and let's not forget he was very very well thought of pre-Us to the point i believe he was on the SPL board? It's all positive imho
  16. The board need to dip into their pockets because by spurring us onto promotion with fresh faces they can make some of it back. By sitting tight they risk losing it all. No brainer imho Give the manager the fresh impetus his squad needs so we have more options to execute the plan.
  17. Have to say that boy Izaguirre looked distraught. Read his article about having to comfort his 7yr old son and was pretty strong stuff. Seen the pic of him on his knee in prayer earlier. I might hate the scum but that boy is suffering and it's ironic that it's us bears who can identify with it. I'd like to see Rangers send his wee boy something along with Arnie's family. Be a touch of genuine understanding and class in a very dark time for the lad.
  18. Both The Goalie and Schmeichel credit him with making them better keepers. High praise for a man who clearly knew his stuff. R.I.P
  19. Speedy recovery Booler. Focus on the recovery and you'll be back on here taking folk to task before you know it.
  20. Legendary trip. Stayed in Hilton first night, chatted up Girls Aloud, told Richard Blackwood to fook off and spent a night off the map in Whitley Bay. Took a week to recover. Brilliant.
  21. I remembe it. We used it to announce Laudrup as captain
  22. I used to work with his then partner Linda at RBS and had the pleasure of seeing him many times. Nice guy and great singer Rest in Peace sir. Sad to see anyone taken so young
  23. Andy was working himself into a frenzy towards the end of that interview. Good to see cos u know that kind of passion must be rubbing off in the dressing room. Great stuff.
  24. I see this petition has made the news and Timothy is having a right old laugh and saying it proves we're deid. Predictable but why start pish like this? It's a game and our licences are Big Mike's. Anyone who signed the petition but boycotts Sports Direct needs to have a wee lie down and a think. The irony is lost.
