  1. The more these guys turn up (first Hibs, then us and now Hearts) you start to wonder just what killing they intend to make Was clear from their time around us that they aren't really prepared to invest and Hearts don't have the ability to generate money like we did SO the big question is . . Just what are they up to? I'd be helluva wary of I was a Jambo. If Hearts are subject to the same drawn out posturing and ridiculously low debt-laden bids we were? They will die.
  2. I tweeted him back applauding his efforts but thought his use of jambos kickback was a serious error due to a certain thread on there. He could have done it through Big Hearts or something as opposed to that site of vermin
  3. It's bollocks to suggest that 'poor jambos were done over by a crook' There debt under Romanov is only £3m different from when he took over They were running on fumes and trying to punt Tynecastle even then They don't have a support like ours that rallies round. They never have. The shite they spout on Kickback may not be the full view of their fanbase but it DOES represent a section if them. Fuck Hearts. I'll laugh the day they padlock the gates. Not thru a hatred of them but simply because it's the first domino to fall that will bring annihilation closer to the HIV's, Sheep and Dundee Hibs. They are getting what they wanted. Hurry up and die you corrupt, rotten cabal of Rangers hating scum.
  4. Started poorly granted but unbeaten in last 5 They will qualify with ease
  5. My money is on Uruguay. Italy and Spain will struggle with the heat and humidity. Brazil simply aren't settled. Nigerians are at war with their FA. Tahiti are a footnote. Mexico are in a transitional stage from the old greats to the younger generation. Uruguay are both settled and have been very good for 3 or 4 years now. In Cavani & Suarez they have a front pairing that will rip the rest asunder.
  6. Absolutely not. They knew the consequences of their actions and had ample time to trim their budget to compensate. They didn't and let cleaners and tea ladies go without a wage. For that alone they should have been destroyed. Imagine ur missus working 40 hours a week for a month then going to cashline for the cash and there was nada. Exactly. Fuck em. Besides their best player is Zaliuskas and he is a free agent. The rest of that squad isn't even worth 250k
  7. All the article is saying is Scottish clubs are reliant on the one thing that is dying on it's arse - attendances. That isn't just an SPL thing. When i see such low value figures i truly fear what our great club will become.
  8. Favourable tax and investment laws in Isle of Man. Fairly obvious they are purchasing on an individuals behalf. The question is . . Who?
  9. This will do no more than annoy us a wee bit. I imagine the St Mirrens, Motherwells, Ross C's et al of this world will not be thrilled at this. Ah well. They made their bed.
  10. 268k works out about 270k for Monaco. An English club would need to offer circa 450k per week to give him same wage after tax. Any other French side? 700k+. Spanish? 400k+ Well played HMRC and their Euro counterparts. By making it very difficult for clubs to sign the best i suspect they have cost the clubs and economy tens of millions in lost revenue Smart.
  11. The chairman doesn't need to be a businessman. These days its the Chief Exec who does all that side of things. The chairman is a public face of the club and is the link between the football side & finance side. Walter seems to be onside with Mather and Stockbridge who continue to impress. Could be a sign that peace has been declared.
  12. Are you really so simple that you believe 80k paying approx £12 a match sustains a team in today's world. DId you go to a school starting with 'St' or 'Our Lady' ???
  13. Defo makes preseason a far different affair. Not so good if u like knocking off at one for a Nandos lol
  14. The way i see it is Stockbridge basically sets the budget. Mather ultimately determines how that budget is split. Right now he has delivered every target that Ally has (naively/stupidly/arrogantly) went public on. So long as that is within said budget then Mather has played a very quiet, solid blinder. The 'suits' have delivered. Very early. Time for the football side to do likewise.
  15. Hearts are fucked. They owe majority of their money to foreign parties who quite simply could not give a flying fook. Tynecastle will be razed to the ground. As it stands the Stadium is £15m. ANY buyer outwith someone who simply plans to demolish it must meet that minimum figure. £15m+ to buy a skint club full of youth players with a -17 point starting position? No chance. Truly. Even the thick Jambos have sussed it. They know.
  16. All this stuff has been disturbing but it's reaching it's zenith now It looks likely we will have some guys in charge who want to grow the business on AND off the field. King is a safe pair of hands. Stockbridge has been a gem imho. Mather is shaping up well. Not convinced about Wattie as not sure he is removed from Ally, Durranty and Co to make decisions that impact them. If he can then the man has shown he loves the club more than any individual. Actually feeling positive about all this now.
  17. It's a good interview where he is basically saying to his employee "I've set a target. You chose the tools u needed. I delivered them. Now meet the target. Or else". Not sure Ally will be chuffed with the guy backing him si openly as it takes away the 'no pre-season, team built in a day, i had to work with what i was given' stuff. It's put up or shut up time
  18. His reaction was completely natural and the actions of a man who loves his club His wee thanks to the fans b4 the match (abt them not being able to get home due to no trains) was the sign of a man who is in touch with his fanbase Well played Dave and his band of warriors.
  19. Pellegrini is an excellent attack minded manager. He got a raw deal at Madrid cos they actually had a huge points haul that would ordinarily have won the league. Mancini wastes too much if Citys main weapon e.g resources on defensively minded players. I also think he has lost some of the playera with his indecisiveness and criticisms of them. Pellegrini would deliver the title imho.
  20. Let's be honest here. Ally is gonna sink us. He'll buy over the hill guys that we simply don't need. We should be looking at players in the 23 to 26yrs of age bracket. Guys who aren't rookies but who will pay back into the club when they leave. Ally's transfer policy is absolute and utter madness.
  21. This second half has seen Zaha step up a gear or 3. Defo looks a dangerous player. Can only imagine how he will progress in next 18 months with the support and coaching system at United.
  22. Got sad news this morning that a top bloke and big Rangers man, Frank Dixon, passed away last night. Quality big guy who always had a good word to say and loved the Gers. When i was younger he seen me and a mate standing bored and shouted us over. Gave us free tickets and travel down to see us play Sherbourne at Prenton Park. Even bought us the carry out. All he asked in return was we brought some battle tunes for the car. That's just the kinda guy he was. Lived in Easterhouse for many years and was latterly involved with The Circle in Baillieston. Sleep tight big man. The world is a poorer place today.
  23. The SPL will tell the 10 to f off. Last thing they need is more legal battles. How do you sell a sponsorship agreement that they need desperately on the basis of clubs that might not be allowed to join. Nonsense.
  24. Utterly ridiculous article. Doesn't believe in youth and thinks spend spend spend every year is the only way. I give up.
  25. Carra is an intelligent guy and after reading his book he is defo a no nonsense kinda pundit BUT I literally understand 1 in every 5 words he says. I imagine that is even worse for the average Little Englander.
