Fair enough if you have aspirations to be a very big side then you should build a squad capable of competing in 55-60 games, but it's the fact that we're going to have to play about 18-20 games in 2 months that's the problem we have! A ridiculous thread IMO. We need to find some solution to the fixture congestion, the idea of using Hampden is an entirely reasonable one. Of course it's not 100% ideal, but the exceptional circumstances of this season mean it may have to be done. Otherwise, we could end up almost into June and still with games to play!

Hemdani certainly shouldn't be tired, he's only played in about half our games this season!!!!

As far as I can see there's only a few SPL players going to Euro 2008, namely Boruc, Samaras, Hesselink and maybe Hinkel. That may be taken into account if/when the possibilty of extending the season is discussed.

We can't fit any games in until at least the midweek of 16th/17th of April. I have NO idea when these St. Miren/Celtic/Motherwell games will be rearranged for, the SPL must curse every time we get progress in Europe! Not our problem though, if we just keep winning then only good things can come of it!!!!!!!
