  1. Took the decision last week not to renew my player sponsorship of him - that interview has fully justified the decision now
  2. Great news and glad to see the curtain finally fall on the worst captain in the club's history. A wage thief and an average player at best - learned how to dine form the fatted calf form his mentor McCostalot
  3. Nothing like certain fanctions of our "support" to moan about anythign they can. Some people need to realise this is not Football Manager where you just hire a scout form the available list. AA network takes time and preparation to put in place. We have a management team who have said all along that this is essential and it will undoubtedtly have been a pre-requisite of them accepting to come here.
  4. Hope he uses his loaf when scouting out new talent and we' don't get anymore of these half-baked signings we've been used to We need to make some wholemeal changes to the way the club is run
  5. Sad to say that the flip side of all the hype of Warburton's arrival and the new plans he will have does mean some bad news.,,, Stevie from IT will be gettign the chop as head of Scouting
  6. Not as an assistant but maybe him and Stevie form It can head up the scouting department
  7. I don't think he is in the running. If he was then I think the sheep woudl have come out publicly and either said he had been approached and they had nknocked it back or that they had given permission to speak to him. I think if an appointment is imminent it will be Warburton, McCall or AN Other manager currently without a club
  8. That's a bit sensationalist and wholly ignorant of the facts here GOAT. I'm not an" all hail the King" type by any means butthis doesn't ocme down to writing 1 cheque for x million and saying that's it. ST sales havean impact on the club's workign capital. He has however said that the club will not live within its means for a period of 3 year and will require investment in order to balance the books. He has further said that he will make that investment along with others. Now that makes sense to me and indicates that a level of investment will be made that takes us back to the top of the Scottish game with a logner term plan of becoming self sustaining to follow. Just because he hasnt said "here's a cheque for £20 million" doesn't mean that won't be the investment he makes.
  9. What is on Davies great cv? He has achieved fuck all as a manager
  10. I don't think we are lookign for the most convenient option. I htink Warburton has been sounded out in the background for a while now. There has been talk of Weir being a permanent fixture at our games (youth included) for a couple of months now. i know he has an affiliation to the club but wouldn't expect him to be at every game.
  11. All sounding positive. An up and coming manager, balanced with Weir who know exactly what the club is all about. Essential that he gets the financial backing to deliver though - we need investment in the playign squad and a proper scoutign set up. We won't be firing form the off regardless of who ocmes in as any new team will need time to settle but he clearly knows that he will be required to deliver results quickly
  12. What a ridiculous OP. How can any supporter of this club suggest we go into a season (which hasn't evebn started) and discount ANY competition? Beggars belif
  13. It is only the start. These are the guys out of conrtract who we can automatically get rid of. Beyond that, I think we will also look to offload some of the others (if we cna find clubs daft enough to take them) or possibly agree deals to release them. It is a damning but accurate assessment you make though of your 60 years supporting the club that it is the worst team we have ever seen. They have been complete imposters form the off and hopefully we cna start to close this sorry chapter in our history by brining in new players and management befitting of this fgreat club
  14. Fuck off. If we are shite then we should be discussing it. We were tonight and we have fucked our chances of going up. Get your head out the sand I've not been boycotting but let's not try and sprinkle glitter on this turd of a team and pretend it is something it isn't
  15. We might have had more of the ball but we did fuck all with it until the last 10 mins. A couple of decent chances but no direction decisiveness or desire. Plus we must be the slowest football team I have ever seen. Do our guys run at all in training?
  16. We are on the real cusp of becoming just one of the also rans of Scottish football now. We have a retreating plan of investment that I was tens of millions and dwindles every time it is discussed. We need to rebuild in a big way very quickly and then start to look longer term otherwise the game is up for us as any sort of true leading team in scotland
  17. Our strikers are shite. We have Nicky (I couldn't lace my dad's mediocre boots) Clark, with miller and Boyd who are finished. We created a bit tonight but hardly gave them much to worry about. Can see us creating plenty on Sunday for sure, especially with the right formation, but have no faith in our piss poor strike force to put them away
  18. Simple as. Both sides shoudo have been lining up tonight playing for their futures. Our over pampered, mediocre players however thought they would take iti nth eir stride. Funny, because they've taken fuck all else in their stride all season. Motherwell went at us form the off, threw bodies behind the ball when they were under pressure and were worthy of their win tonight. With the exception of Walsh, Ferguson and Murdoch tonight we were poor and 2nd best in every area of the park. I don't think we can turn it around on Sunday and even if we do, we will have been gifted it rather than earned it.
  19. I just cannot see us getting past Queens. Horrific to think it but they have raped us twice at Palmerston. We would need to go there and take a win before I'd have any confidence of us doing the business against them. Beyond that though I reckon we can go up but queens are the thorn in our side we need to overcome to achieve that
  20. Give that man a long term contract

I'm not sure which Templeton you have been watching for the past couple of seasons but everytime I have seen him play he has been the oppositee. Looking interested and if anythign trying too hard which has caused him to make mistakes . I've never seen a player so low in confidence for years (if at all) and that, combined with the fact that every single one of our playing squad have deteriorated over the last 12 months plus before the arrival of McCall, can only lead to the conclusion that the root of the problem has been the previous coaching/management team. I also thik Templeton was as diplomatic as he possibly could have been in referring to the new coaching style as "different" rather than better - I think he did all he could not to slag off what was clearly a piss poor regime under McCoist
  22. Signing Kenny Miller for the 3rd time instead of takign Scott Allan has to be one of the most bizarre and bad decisions of any Rangers manager
  23. I've defended Law on a number of occasions as I believe there is decent player in there somewhere. However on Saturday I had hospitality as I sponsor him and it was my "meet the player" game. He came into our box about 20 mins after full time. He was introduced and I think he and the guy introducing him expected some sort of applause or something. As you can imagine it was just an awkward silence. I asked him if he had any excuses for the performance today and his reply was "the gaffer has only been here for 2 days. Things don't happen overnight". I replied by saying that he himself had been here all season though and he shouldn't be hiding behind McCall. I've probably never seen anyone look more awkward after that. He didn't reply and quickly made a beeline for the door. I'd have had much more respect if he had acknowledged that he and the rest of the team had been piss poor but clearly he has shown what a shite bag he is. Looking forward to round 2 with him at mp on 21 April though!
  24. Would like to hope he hasn't left with a pay-off. His tenure as caretaker has been horrific
  25. Yes. I think he has the potential to get us promoted and get the best out of the current squad
