  1. Signing of Flo just before the Old Firm game, remember the hype??????????? I wish the day had never happened but hey
  2. I'll sell anyone mine for a bargain £30,000. If you need to contact me, my name is Kirk Broadfoot and i sit in front of the main stand on a very comfortable bench
  3. The point that Smith is too defensive is becoming a recurring theme on here. I hope we sign a creative mid in the summer along with a goal scorer who runs more than 5 yards. If we dont get these players it may be goodbye Smith and Hello Billy Davies sooner than i thought
  4. TheFish i reckon is a 16yr old school kid with a lot of time on his hands. It's a wee shame, he needs to learn the joins of master*ation
  5. I Hate this argument. Sir David Murray, i salute you and i could not give a flying f*** and neither should you Sir David about what some short sighted people think
  6. First of all i'd like to say that i think Walter Smith is a good manager and in no way am i suggesting he is not the man for the job. However, i do not understand his reasoning when it comes to repeating the same tactics if they work once. Look at the way we played against hibs after the Hapoel game, fair enough we won 2-0 but the performance was poor at best. We played the same formation as we did against hapoel but it was clear that it did not work as Boyd had no-one supporting him up front when he occassionaly won a knock down and Charlie Adam is in no way a left winger (although i do think he is a good player). Still after this poor performance, Walter went for the same tactics against Osasuna and again the problem was clear, no-one was supporting the laziest man in football (Mr Kris Boyd) and therefore the ball just kept coming back at us, the same way it did in the Hibs game. Finally walter realised these tactics did not work and changed it against Celtic, with very limited success. He went with Sebo up front on his own for a bit more energy and in a way it worked as although we could not keep the ball in their half, at least he pressured there defenders in to giving the ball away, giving us time to organise in defence. It again was not a great performance, with the tactics clearly not working, but fair play we managed a 1-0 win with a bit of fortune. After this game you would think walter would come up with some different tactics to face a different team with a different style and a different situation where we needed to score. Nope, Walter stuck with the same tactics as we had won the previous game, and did they work, well we all know the answer to that. I dont like criticising Walter, and on the majority of Occasions he gets his tactics right, but when we are getting fortunate wins without playing well then he replicates these tactics just because we won it really makes me worried. It is simply frustrating as you can see how tactically right Walter gets it most of the time, but when his tactics 'work' once he will not change them and this is deeply concerning
  7. I would pay another £12 million for Flo than bring in Stillie on a free. He is known as Derek Spilly by the Arabs, and if they dont rate a player then he must have some severe goalkeeping disabilities
  8. This boy will become world class, but he is guaranteed to be another Gazza, Rooney when it comes to controversy. I watch the victory shield every year and he is by far the best young player i've ever seen in the tournament, certainly for Scotland anyway. The only lad i have seen with so much control over the game at that level was Darren Fletcher, however Fleck not only controlled the game, he has skill, pace and strength in barrel loads as well. On the same front, young Scot Durie (son of Gordon) looks like he'll be a top class centre half with a commanding prescence. Looking down the age groups we do have a bright future, but then again i think the talent has allways been there but never been given the chance. I just hope when Murray sells up we dont get a guy who invests millions in foreigners when we have the talent at home already
  9. again when we signed 3 Scottish Players that would massivley improve our squad. I honestly think Mr Smith hass pulled off a masterstroke if he signs Thompson, Gow and Hartley. With the passion of these guys along with Barry, Burkey and Adam in midfield we will no longer be outfought in midfield by any team in the SPL. Thompson will step in as an excellent defensive mid behind Barry in the centre Hartley will fill the gap between midfield and attack on the right and Gow will provide us with that bit of class up top, even if it has to be as a supersub on occassion. I'm so glad Smith has appeared to give up on McCulloch as that move would just have made us play long balls for the big man to win, which sure aint the way to play in Europe and very rarely the way to play in the SPL as well. If Smith persists with Murray and Hutton as full backs, with Stevie Smith being given a chance on the left of midfield, we will be a formidable force. Smith is certainly not a left back because he gets beat far too much at the back post, whch has shown with the clean sheets in the last few games when we look much more comfortable with cross balls to the back posts. Things are beggining to look rosey again and if we can get rid of the likes of Sionko, Leitizi, Mcgregor (in my opinion) and Papac and free up the wages for a top class operator beside Boyd, great times will return to the mighty Glasgow Rangers Come On <RMTIME>
  10. Everyone is forgetting that Nacho Novo can now be Scottish if he just applies to the government, so you can add the wee man to the list
  11. McCulloch is a joke. He is the type of player i guarantee would be booed by the fans. He cant beat a man, cross a ball and does not have any pace. If McCulloch is the sort of player Smith is after we may well achieve 2nd place, but we can kiss goodbye to Europe and any chance of winning the league next year. I am normally very positive in my posts, but this signing just makes no sense to me and makes me fear for the type of football we are going to play from now on
  12. Nope. There is already a waiting list. Graham Souness is 4th in line
  13. Did you know they cut off his tash before they hanged him. They are honestly going to put it in a museum and you can pay to wear it
  14. Saddam is in West Ham eating some Jam with some stupid wee Bam
  15. I'll save my town centre. I'll offer all of my services free of charge, that should raise enough.
  16. Homer: "You'll have to speak up, i'm wearing a towel"
  17. Hoy you, Blobby is much more hansome than Sebo, your just jealous of our love
  18. Sebo will be a success at Ibrox i am certain. If this man does not score 20 goals next season i will do the famous pose (in his speedos on the beach) from his website and post the photo on here
  19. Lee McCulloch should never be considered for Rangers. The guy cant finish, cant run and cant pass a ball to save his life. The only way we should sign him is as a centre half cos he can at least win headers
  20. Let him go and bring in Thompson. Just as good a player and we would be getting close to a Scottish XI. If not Thompson, mascherano wouldbe available free on loan and wouldn't be a bad move
  21. na na na na na....................nanananananaan, quality tune
  22. I propose a toast to bring an end to this union. Tell me 1 marriage that has ever lasted 300 years, I (Scotland) need to move on and YOU (England) cannot satisfy me anymore. We are finished
